"We should do something else before we head home," Annie suggests.
"Like what?"
"We could go to the mall or to the park or something." She suggests.
"Might as well." Peeta says.
"Let's go to the mall." I say.
Peeta lets out a sigh and begins walking in the direction of the mall.
"I really want a new pair of boots because it's fall." Annie says.
"I love fall." I mention.
"Fall is my favorite season." Peeta throws in.
"Same." I say looking over to see Peeta smiling.
"I really like pumpkins." Annie says.
"I like eating pumpkins." I smile.
"I like pumpkins because they are orange." Peeta says grinning.
"WAIT INSTEA OF GOING TO THE MALL LETS GO TO A PUMPKIN PATCH!" Annie says.
"CAN WE?" I beg.
"Sure. There's one about a mile from here behind that subdivision. Are y'all willing to walk?" Peeta asks.
"Yes!!"
"Alright then let's go."
Me and Annie begin running and Peeta struggles to keep up.
"SLOW DOWN THE PUMPKINS ARENT GOING ANYWHERE!"
"And neither are you, hurry up!" Annie yells at Peeta.
About 15 minutes later we all make it to the patch. We pay the lady at the gate and go in.
"GIVE ME THOSE PUMPKINS!" Annie says running up to several small children and scaring them.
"Annie stop, you can pick you own pumpkins."
The kids run to their mothers who give us dirty looks.
After the embarrassment, we go to the larger patch which has bigger pumpkins.
Peeta chooses the largest, but ugliest pumpkin.
"That ones ugly! Why don't you get a different one?" Annie asks who us searching for the prettiest pumpkin he can find.
"No one ever chooses the ugly pumpkins and they get left out here to rot. Every pumpkin deserves a home." He says happy with his choice.
My heart melts. He is so adorable.
"KATNISS CHOOSE YOU PUMPKIN SO WE CAN TAKE PICTURES."
I grab a large pumpkin and join Annie and Peeta for pictures.
"Group!" Annie says passing her phone to the lady behind us who happily takes the photos.
Then we thank the lady and we take singles of each of us and our pumpkins.
"Alright Peeta and Katniss together." Annie says shoving us together.
"Smile!" She yells snapping a photo of us.
"Alright me and Peeta." Annie says handing we phone to me.
"Alright me and Katniss." Annie says making me pass the phone to Peeta.
"Finally! We took so many pictures."
