"There you are! I've been looking for you!" Ryan says when I walk to him. "I didn't know that you were here." "Jack, I'm here every day. I practically live here." "Yeah, you are." He smiles at me. "So, what do you want to do?" "I don't know, you're the one who came to me." "Like I said, I come here every day. Without a reason."
"Jack, good, you're here." Mom says while walking towards us. She looks at me from head to toe and then smiles at Ryan. "Hello Ryan." He smiles back. "Hello May." I look at mom worried. "What's wrong?" She stops smiling. "Have you heard of the murder that took place this morning?" "Yes, Laure told me." I say while Ryan nods. "She has killed someone again." "Again? Who?" I ask her. "A hunter. He was found an hour ago." "How do they know it was her? Was it filmed like the first one?" "It wasn't, but the hunter has been brutally killed like that farmer." "So they just say that she did it?" "Yes, but that doesn't matter. I just came to see if you're alright." Mom looks at me. "Tomorrow we have to go to an animal shelter, it's early so get up on time." "Yes mom."

When I get out of my car, I walk to the entrance of the animal shelter. The press isn't interested in me or my parents, only in Laure and her parents. I don't mind though; I wouldn't like having people following my every move.
This is really boring, we've been here for almost an hour and I still haven't seen any animals! We haven't even entered the building! Suddenly, I get the feeling that I'm being watched. I look at the roof of the animal shelter and see someone looking back at me. A woman. We keep looking at each other, we don't move.
"Jack? What are you looking at?" I hear my father ask me, but I don't answer. "It's the woman!" Someone suddenly yells. Everyone look at where he's looking and I'm surprised to see them looking at the same woman I was looking at. She stops looking at me and looks at the crowd.
"Who are you?" Uncle William asks her. She simply looks at him and doesn't answer. "Why did you kill two men?" She ignores him and looks at me. She walks to the edge of the roof but keeps looking at me. "Be careful!" Aunt Luna yells. The woman jumps of the roof and lands on her feet on the ground. That's impressive. She walks towards us. Some guards run to her to stop her, but she pushes them away. She keeps walking closer. My uncle and aunt move away, followed by Laure. She keeps walking and ignores them. My parents move away too. But I don't, I don't move and look at her while she keeps walking towards me. "What are you doing? Move!" Laure says to me while she walks towards me, but her father stops her. I ignore her and keep looking at the woman. The woman stops walking when she's in front of me.
"Who are you?" She asks me. I look confused at her. "What?" "Who are you?" She asks again. "I'm prince Jackson." "You're a prince?" She asks. "Yes, I am. Who are you?" She turns around and starts to walk away. "Wait!" She stops walking and looks at me. "I told you my name, can you tell me yours?" "I would tell you, but not with so many people." She says before walking away.
Laure walks to me and punches my arm. "Why did you do that!?" "Ouch!" I say holding my arm. "You should have moved away." Dad says to me. "But-" I begin, but mom interrupts me. "She's dangerous! She could have hurt you!" "I know; can we just go home?" I answer annoyed. "Wait." Uncle William says. He walks to me and looks me in the eyes. "She was walking towards you; she wasn't interested in anyone else but you. Why?" "I don't know." "Are you sure?" "Yes, I'm sure."

That night I was in my room getting changed in my pyjamas. After what happened at the animal shelter, I had to go to my bedroom and stay there the whole day. My parents also asked four guards to guard the door.
Suddenly I hear a noise from my balcony. I walk towards the doors and open them. "Hello? Is someone here?" I ask. I walk on the balcony and look at the city. "Of course there's nobody, why would anyone be on my balcony? How would someone even get up here?" "Do you always talk to yourself?" I look behind me and see the woman. "You? How did you get up here?" She smiles. "I have my ways." "What are you doing here?" "I wanted to talk to you." "What do you want to talk about?" "Not here, I don't like it here. Meet me on the clearing in the woods."
"I would love to, but I can't. There are guards everywhere." "Then I'll take you with me." "Uh, okay." "Don't you want to put on a shirt first?" "Oh, right! Wait here." I say to her. I walk back inside and put on a shirt. I walk back outside and I'm surprised to see her with golden hair and eyes. She looks at me. "Close your eyes." I close my eyes. I'm happy that I closed my eyes because a bright light appears. When it disappears, I open my eyes and see that we are in the woods.
I look at her and see her hair changing back to its normal colour. "How did you do that?" She has her eyes closed and when she opens them, they're back blue. "I teleported of course." "You teleported?" "Yes." "How can you do that?" "That doesn't matter right now." She says while she sits down on the grass. "Can I know your name now?" I say while I sit down next to her. She looks at me. "It's Mirella." I smile at her. "That's a beautiful name." She smiles back. "Thanks." "So, where are you from?" She looks down sad. "I'm sorry, I didn't want to upset you." She looks at me again. "Don't worry, it's just-" "You don't have to tell me if you don't want to." She smiles. "You're really sweet, Jackson."
"Thanks, but what did you want to talk about?" "I want to know why you're different from the others. Everyone here fears me or hates me, except for you. When I saw you today, the way you looked at me, I didn't see fear or hate. I saw curiosity. Why is that?" "I don't know. At first, I didn't know that you were the one everybody was talking about." "Your family made it really clear who I was and yet, you weren't afraid." "I'm just not afraid of you and I don't hate you." She looks down. "You probably don't approve of me killing those men, do you?" "I don't, killing is never the answer."
She stands up and looks at the sky. "I think it's time to go." She says and starts to walk away. I stand up too and grab her arm. "Wait!" She turns around and looks at me with golden eyes. "Don't touch me!" She yells at me. I immediately let go off her arm and step a few steps back. "I'm sorry." She takes a few deep breaths to calm down. "Close your eyes, I'm going to teleport you back to your home." I sigh deeply. "Okay." I say while closing my eyes. The bright light appears again and disappears after a while. When I open my eyes again, I'm back on my balcony, alone. I look around me, but don't see her anywhere. I walk back inside to go to bed.
