Chapter seven

-Ella's POV-

"I can't believe that you're here! How did you find me?" I ask them. "It wasn't easy, we visited many planets. But eventually we found you." Lucy answers. "And mom? Did she make it?" "She didn't, James tried his best." Jason says sad. I look down. Jason and Lucy walk to me. "Did you tell her?" James asks when he appears. "Yes, they did. I know you've tried to safe her." I answer him. He walks closer and hugs me. "I love you, Ella. I'm so happy to see you again." I hug him back. "I love you three and I'm happy to see you again too." Lucy joins our hug and after a while Jason too.

We stop hugging when we hear a twig break. We all change the colour of our eyes and hair and look at the place where we heard the noise. I calm down. "Ryan." Jason looks at me. "You know him?" "Yes I do." I say and change my eyes and hair back to their normal colour. "I'm sorry, I didn't want to interrupt the family reunion." Ryan says which makes me smile. "Don't worry, you didn't." I say walking to him. "I've brought Jack and his cousin. I hope you don't mind." I look behind him and see Jackson and a woman. "Hello again. This is Lauretta, my cousin." Jackson says to me. I look at Lauretta. "Hello, I'm Mirella." "Hello." She answers. I walk back to my siblings and look at them.

"Everybody, this is Ryan, Jackson and Jackson's cousin, Lauretta." I say to my siblings pointing at the person when I say their name. "I'm Lucinda, the oldest." Lucy says to them, changing her hair back to her black hair and her eyes turn back green. "I'm Jason, I'm the second oldest." Jason says changing his silver hair back to black and his eyes back to blue. "And I'm James, the second youngest." James says. He looks at me and I smile at him. He changes his hair back to blond and his eyes back green.

"Wait, I've seen you two at that press conference." Jason says walking to Jackson and Lauretta. Lauretta immediately steps a few steps back. Jason smiles at her. "I love it here! Everyone is so afraid of me!" He says walking back at us. "We were there because it's our duty." "Duty?" Lucy asks them. "We're royals." "You're royals? That changes a lot." Jason says to us. Lucy walks to them followed by James and Jason. They look at them suspiciously and are surprised to see them bow lightly at them. "What are you doing?" Jackson asks them. "On our planet you have to bow to someone with a higher or the same position in life. You're royals, so we have to bow." Lucy tells them.

"Then why doesn't Mirella have bow? And how do you know what a press conference is, but not what an elephant is?" "We don't have elephants on our planet." Jason answers. "And we know what press conferences are because we used to be part of it." Lucy continues. They look confused at us.

"We're royals too." James says to them. "You're royals?" Lauretta asks surprised. "Yes, didn't you know that?" Lucy asks them. "No, we didn't." Jackson says looking at me. "Wait, if you're royals and you're supposed to bow to everyone who's higher or has the same position as you. Then why hasn't Ella bowed?" Ryan asks walking closer. I immediately see James looking very protective at me.

I walk to Ryan and look him in the eyes. "I'm the crown princess." "You are?" Jackson asks surprised, walking closer and stops next to Ryan. "I am." "I'm the crown princess here, but how are you the crown princess when you're the youngest?" "On our planet, the heir to the throne is the one who has the golden shine in the eyes when she's born." "It's always a woman?" Jackson asks. "There were a few man, who had a silver shine in their eyes, but that doesn't happen often. It's been over 200 years since the last male heir." Jason answers. "Once the heir is born, the king and queen can't get any other children. That's why the heir is always the youngest." I continue.

"You keep mentioning your planet, what is it like?" Lauretta asks. "Our planet, Solniana, is ruled by our family. On the whole planet, every living creature has the same king and queen." "Everyone has the same rulers? Doesn't that ever cause some troubles between countries?" Jackson asks. "No, because everyone knows that the heir to throne is chosen by Serea." "Who?" Jackson asks. "Serea is our supreme ruler. She decides who becomes the heir." I answer. "She decides who you will love and who you will hate." Lucy says. "She decides what your future will be like and gives you hope." Jason continues. "She decides when you come to life and when you will die." James continues looking down.

"On our planet, everyone only gets one child expect for the king and queen. And everyone has an ability. The ability that you inherit from your mother or father. Only the heir has multiple abilities." Lucy tells them. "What are your abilities?" Jackson asks. "I can control the weather. I can make the sun shine brighter and make it warm or I can let it go away and let it rain. I can make it snow but I can also create a snow storm or a tornado." Lucy answers. "I can change in every living creature I want, but I mostly transform in animals. I can change in a very big one that can eat you or into a small one that can spy on everyone's conversations without them knowing." Jason says. "And I can heal anyone's wounds or diseases, doesn't matter how badly they are. But I can also give someone wounds and diseases. I can easily take someone's life without touching them but I can also bring someone back to life." James answers.

-Jack's POV-

When Laure and I return to the castle, we go to her bedroom. "So, what did you think of them?" "Well, I liked them. They were very friendly." "So, you won't tell?" She smiles. "I won't." "You wouldn't even have to tell us." Uncle William says when he enters the room with dad. "Dad? What are you-" Laure begins but he interrupts her. "Did you really think that we wouldn't notice you two leaving?" "What were you thinking? They could have killed you!" Dad yells at us. "Dad, they wouldn't!" I answer. "One of them killed the minister in front of you! He was even happy when he saw how scared the minister was!" Dad answers. He looks at me. "I don't want you near them. I'll make sure of that." "That also applies to you, Laure." Uncle says to her. "But dad-" We both say at the same time. But they don't listen and leave.
