-Jason's POV-
I'm walking in the city on my own tonight. Ella told us a lot about this place, so I decided to see it. I didn't ask her or Lucy and James to come with me though. I like being alone sometimes. Being alone is one of the few things I enjoy except for training of course. I love my family, I may not say it to them, but I do love them. But I just don't show it to them. Showing emotions, except for a couple like anger, is weakness. Nobody may know how you feel or they'll use it against you.
I stop walking when I hear a scream. I look around, but I don't see anybody. I change my hair and eyes in silver. And transform in a wolf, an animal that I saw in the woods earlier. And listen again. When I hear the scream again, I run towards it. I keep running until I enter an alley and I see a woman cornered by three men. I growl which makes them look at me. "A wolf?" One of the men says confused. I use that they're confused against them and attack them. When I'm done fighting them I transform back to my normal form. I walk towards the woman while I change my hair and eyes back.
"Are you alright?" I ask her. "Y-Yeah, thanks." She says looking at the men that are on the ground. "Let's go." I say walking away. She follows me. "Where are we going?" "I'm taking you home." She stops walking and looks anxious at me. "No! I'm not going home!" I stop and look at her. "Fine, then you stay here." I say to her and begin walking again. She walks next to me. "You're just going to leave me?" "Yes, what do you want me to do? I'm not your father, I don't care if you go home or not." "But, you saved me! If you don't care, then why did you save me?" "Because I couldn't let those men to things to you that you don't want."
She walks in front of me and stops which makes me stop too. "Aren't you the man who killed the minister?" She asks. "I am, are you now scared of me?" "No, I'm not." "And I thought that you would run away and leave me alone." I say and walk past her. She walks next to me again.
"Where are your friends?" "They aren't here, they're sleeping." "And you're not? Why?" "You're annoying me." "I'm just curious." "No, you're-" I begin but she suddenly gets scarred and pulls me in an alley. She hides behind a dumpster and pulls me next to her. Before I can say anything, she puts her hand on my mouth. I hear footsteps pass by and after a while she calms down.
"I think they're gone." She says standing up. "Don't touch me!" I yell at her and stand up too. She looks surprised by my outburst. "I'm sorry. But they can't know that I'm here." "Why not?" I ask calming down. "They work for my father." "Your father?" "Yes, he wants me home." "Then go home." I say turning around and walking away. She walks next to me. "I can't go home." "Then don't go, I don't care."
"I've got an idea!" She says while moving her hand towards my arm to stop me, but I pull my arm away and stop walking. "You can help me!" She says excided. "I don't want to help you; I want to be alone." I say irritated. "Please, you're my only hope!" She begs. I sigh deeply. "What do you want?" "You have to come with me to my house." "Why?" "You have to wear a suit though. And a mask." "Why?" "Come on, let's get you a new outfit!" She says and walks away. I sigh again and follow her.

After getting changed, she smiles at me. "You look amazing!" "What now?" I ask still irritated. "Now, we go to my house. It quite far, so I hope you like walking." "I don't." I say and change my hair and eyes in silver. "What are you doing?" "I'm teleporting us to your house. Think of your house." "Okay." She says looking at me. A bright light appears and when it disappears, we're in front of a very big villa. "My eyes!" She yells putting her hands in front of her eyes. "Oh right, I should have told you to close your eyes." I say and look at the villa. "That's your house?" I ask her surprised while I change my hair and eyes to their normal colour. She blinks a few times. "Yes, that's it. Come on, we need to go." She says walking towards the villa. "Why do you need me to go to your house?" I ask following her.
When we're inside, we're greeted by a big crowd and music. "A party?" I ask her. "Yes, can you dance?" "I needed to get a suit and a mask and use my powers to dance with you?" "Yes... So, can you dance?" "I can, but I'm not touching you and you're not touching me." "And if we both wear gloves? Then there is no skin contact." "Fine. I'll dance with you." She smiles very big, puts gloves on and gives me gloves. When I've put on my gloves, she drags me to the dance floor.
When we're dancing, I see many people look at us (For this moment, i find the song 'Hello', which is included in this chapter, fitting. You should listen to it.). "Why are we being watched?" I ask her. She doesn't look around; she just keeps looking at me. "That are the men who work for my father." "And where is your father?" "I don't know, he's somewhere here." "I get the feeling that you're not telling me everything." She smiles. "I'm not. You don't need to know everything."
When the song ends, I drag her away from the dance floor. "What's going on?" She keeps smiling. "Nothing." "I see that you finally came home." A middle-aged man says walking towards us with a woman. "Hey dad, hey mom." "Who is this?" The woman asks looking at me. "And how do you know him?" Her father asks. "He's my boyfriend." That's the thing that she was hiding. "He is?" Her father asks looking at me. I look at her and then at him. "I am, it's nice to meet you." "The pleasure is all mine. We'll leave you two alone." Her father says and walks away with her mother.
I look at her but before I can say anything she drags me upstairs. "Where are we going?" I ask her but she doesn't answer and drags me in a room. When we're inside, she locks the door. "Why do you do that?" "Now, they won't interfere." "You're scary, do you know that?" I ask her while I look around. "Is this your bedroom?" "Yes, it is."
"So, why did you tell your parents that I'm your boyfriend?" "They were planning to find a suitable man to be my husband, so I needed someone who looked rich to pretend to be my boyfriend." "What is a boyfriend?" "You don't know what that is?" She asks surprised. "No, I don't." "Well, when two people are in love, they are boyfriend and girlfriend. Except for when it's a relationship between two women or two men, but that doesn't matter right now." "So you told your parents that we're in love?" "Yes, I did. Now they think that I found a rich man and they're happy."
"And you decided to ask me because I'm rich, so you don't have to lie about that." "You are? I didn't know that." "You don't? Why hasn't Ella told anybody who we are?" "Who's Ella?" "My sister, the one who's here the longest." "And who are you?" "I'm Jason, prince of Solniana." "You're a prince?" "I am, who are you?" "I'm Maria."
