-Jason's POV-
"Maria, wait!" I yell to her. She stops and looks at me. "Jason? Is something wrong?" "That's what I was going to ask you." I say walking to her. She smiles. "Don't worry, I'm fine." "You're not. Why were you so sad?" "I'm not sad." "You wanted me to show my other emotions and now I'm showing that I'm worried. Now will you show me how you're really feeling?" She looks down. "It's just..." She begins but stops. "Please tell me." "I can't." "Why not?" "I don't want to ruin our friendship." "We're friends?" She looks angry at me. "Yes, we are!" She yells and starts walking again.
I walk next to her. "Please, just tell me what's wrong. Did I do something?" "No, you didn't." "Then what is it?" She stops walking and looks at me. "I'm just a bit jealous." I stop and look at her. "Jealous? Why?" She looks down. "It's just that you were saying how great she was." "You're jealous of Rose?" "Yes." She answers after a while. "Look at me." She looks at me and I smile at her. "You have no reason to be jealous of Rose. She is an amazing fighter; I won't deny that. But that's the only thing that I know of her." "Really?" "Yes." She smiles again.
"Can you take me home? I don't like walking in the city at night." "I wouldn't even let you go on your own." I say changing my hair and eyes silver. She looks at me amazed. "Don't forget to close your eyes." When I say that, she immediately closes her eyes. A bright light appears and when it disappears, we're in her bedroom.
She opens her eyes again and looks at me. "Thanks." I look at her. "You're welcome." "Aren't you changing back to your normal form?" "No, I'm not staying." "Oh okay." She says looking down. "I can't stay the whole night; I need some sleep too." "I know, but can't you stay a bit longer?"
I walk to her bed and sit down. "I can, but don't you need to get some sleep?" She walks to me and sits down next to me. "I do, but I want to spend time with you" "Why?" "I just want to. I know that I've only known you for two days, but I really like being with you." She says looking in to my eyes with her blue eyes. "I actually like being with you too, which is weird because I don't like many people."
"So there isn't any other woman in your life except for your sisters and me?" She says smiling. "Nope, no one. Why?" "Because then I can do this." She says leaning in and she kisses me. She stops and looks at me. "Well, I think that I'll stay a little bit longer." I say to her which makes her lean in again. But this time, I kiss her back.
"Maria!" We stop kissing and look at the door. "Mom, dad." Maria says surprised to see them. "What are you doing with him!?" Her father asks her. "And why are you cheating on your boyfriend?" Her mother asks. "Actually, I don't have a boyfriend." "What!?" "I asked him to pretend he was." "You asked him? But he's a murderer! The police want to arrest him for the murder of the minister!" Her mother says angrily. "That man deserved to die." I say to them. "Nobody deserves to die!" Her father says angrily.
"You sound just like my brother. But believe me, some people should die. Just like the three men I saved your daughter from." "You saved her?" Her mother asks looking confused at Maria. "What happened?" "Nothing! I was just walking and those men came to me." I look at her. "They were going to do horrible things to you." "Horrible things? They were going to rape you?" Her father asks her shocked. She looks down.
