It had been a long day at the guild, and eventually Lucy had arrived home. She was only just managing to keep a certain teenage boy out of her thoughts for the rest of the way home - it was hopeless at the guildhall. She sunk into the sheets of her bed, deciding on an early-evening nap to solve the dilemma she was facing. She couldn't stop thinking about him. Today just wasn't her day and her mind was all over the place, so maybe this would be the perfect solution...

An hour had passed and Lucy continued to quietley snore away in a deep sleep. Little did she know about the familiar dragon slayer that happened to be climbing right through her window. Natsu tumbled in with a crash. Apparently a crash not loud enough to wake the sleeping girl. He picked himself from the floor, closing the window he'd entered through and searched around soundlessly for his friend.

It didn't take him long to noticed the lump in her bed with long, golden locks sprawled all over. He knew immediately she was here, besides the fact that her sweet scent filled his nostrils the second he stepped in.

As usual, Natsu was bored - having been left alone at home while Happy embarked on a journey with Wendy and Carla. He had nothing else to do but go and see Lucy.

Natsu headed to the kitchen quietley, not wanting to wake the girl and possibly get punched in the face. Rummaging through her fridge, the boy found food to snack on, and resided into the sofa near her bed. He snacked silently, waiting for Lucy to wake up so he could play. But simply being in her sleeping company was good enough for now.

Nearly ten minutes of waiting had passed, but to Natsu, it had felt like hours. Maybe he should wake her up?

Natsu got up from his seat, sneaking over to the girl in the bed to take look. Her golden, yellow hair framed her pale face as she slept, chin buried beneath the sheets just a little.

Natsu yawned. Her peaceful sight was making him tired. Maybe he should just get into bed with her? Natsu nodded at his own thoughts. What a great idea. Afterall, it was beginning to get dark outside.

He leaned forward, carefully peeling the corner of her sheets from under her grasp. He flicked his shoes off as he climbed in beside her, immediately engulfed in the warmth of her body temperature. A small groan escaped Lucy's lips at the movement around her but she simple rolled over to the side, leaving even more room for Natsu to crawl inside.

Natsu moved stifly as he thought about what he was doing. It was kinda risky... Lucy could wake up any moment and kick him all the way to the moon.

But Natsu was curious.

He'd never been this close to Lucy. Well... willingly on her part. But today, something clicked. He wondered why she seemed so nervous at the guild earlier, not wanting to look him in the eye. Maybe she wanted to go on a job but didn't want to ask?

Natsu shook his head, trying to get rid of all the dense parts of his mind. He looked back at the girl who was lay next to him, only just realising his sudden raise in heart rate. He turned back to face the ceiling, wide eyed.

Why was he acting different today? Maybe he-

"Natsu..."

Natsu's thoughts shattered as he heard the girl groan beside him. Did his ears decieve him? Or did Lucy just call out his name in her sleep...?

Natsu shook his head. He must be imagining things... why would she?

But then his tiredness took a toll, hitting him like a brick.

And eventually, Natsu's eyes heavied as sleep slowly took over. Before he knew it, he was fast asleep, curled up beside girl.
