His eyes were wandering again.

But this time, he did nothing to stop them. They scavanged, searched, rooted across her porcelain skin sneakily, scoping out all the areas that he knew were completley out of bounds.

Stop one was her legs.
His view glided across them, absorbing the texture - smooth, colour - pale and even the smell - sweet. His eyes could only go so far. Once he traveled from her ankles to the lower hem of her short skirt, he didn't dare go further. Soon he found his way at the next stop.

Stop two was her torso.
He wandered further, taking in her unique features, his eyes gobbling. He could imagine her flat stomach beneath the oversized t-shirt she wore and well, lets just say the further up he went, the better it got.

But his favourite stop was her face.
Her beautiful, flawless face.

Lucky for him, Lucy had decided to fall asleep facing his direction. Her arms bundled together with a cushion from the sofa inbetween. Her legs were either side of the cushion also, pulled to her chest the slightest. But her face lay to the side, resting on the arm of the chair right opposite him. He silently cheered to himself at picking the armchair opposite her rather than joining her on the long sofa. Of course, that would have its benefits too, but what could beat staring at he angelic face?

Natsu leaned forward a little in his seat, resting his chin lazily on his arms so he was facing her directly. He let a smile creep upon his face as he eyes continued to roam.

Her eyes had fluttered to a close only half way in the movie they had come together to watch, meaning Natsu had all the time in the world to simply stare at her beauty. As soon as she would wake up, he would have to continue acting like she was nothing but his best friend who wore skimpy clothes and kicked him in the face a lot. So now, he had to make the most of his time.

Her tiny lips parted with each intake of breath; open, closed, open, closed. It was something Natsu found so fascinating, he could look for hours. Her body rose and fell subtly and the odd time her arm would change position or her leg stretch out, still, Natsu couldn't peel his eyes away. The movie on the television behind him was long forgotten, his only focus was her.

Why did he have to love her so much? It sent a pain through his heart everytime he thought about how she wasn't his. Luckily, she wasn't anyone elses either... but she still. wasn't. his.

He sighed, pushing the thought from his head. He should enjoy this moment while it lasted becaude she wasn't going to be asleep forever.

Inching closer, Natsu was nearly hanging off the edge of the chairs arm, but he wanted to see every detail... and sadly eyes couldn't zoom, so he continued to get closer. Once he found himself comfortable, he settled back down with his face only a quarter metre from hers.

As she fidgeted again in her sleep, stray hairs managed to escaped the grasp of her hair tie and fall across her face - totally in the way of Natsu. He frowned hard, mentally debating if he should move them. In a way, it made her look even cuter, but now he couldn't see her face as well.

Before he came to a conclusion, his hand had already streched out and was heading straight to her face - but just milimetres away, he froze.

Her eyes were open.

He recoiled his arm, fumbling to sit upright in his seat and move away from her. He had been unusually close afterall. He flicked his eyes toward her, seeing her confused expression clouded from sleep. She rolled over, stretching her arms above her head and letting out a strangled yawn - causing Natsu's heart to thumb even harder than it already was. Eventually she sat up, facing the boy who had found himself looking at his legs 'casually'.
