It was that time of day; the warm, pastel pinks and purples of the oncoming night fusing together in the sky.
And the wind swished.
His hand swung next to hers. Only inches apart - feeling so close but so far.
The beach was vacant, but not the kind that left a feeling of emptiness. It was tranquil, quiet and left Lucy feeling content as she walked beside him.
Step after step as the tide washed in and out and in and out.
Peaceful.
The sun was dropping. Its decent barely noticeable,
until you blinked for just a second,
and suddenly the sky was 10 shades more beautiful than before.
Light being absorbed by darkness bit by bit until there was no more left - just the gentle sparkling of stars up above.
Lucy sighed.
It was a happy sigh. A sigh of complacency. A sigh of relief. A sigh that got his attention.
Natsu's eyes flicked to his side; landing on her face that stared upwards.
The subtle light of the moon casted shadows on her skin. Somehow making her all the more beautiful than before.
Silence.
But it was comfortable.
Simple sounds of the ocean, and that was all that was needed.
Heat.
His fingers brushed against hers momentarily. The back of his rough hand moving against her own. Only for a second.
They continued walking; the imprinted footsteps behind them being the only trace of their existence.
Contact again.
His fingers sliding against her palm before slipping away again.
Hearts beating.
And that was when she reached out her own hand. Hooking around his own, temporarily, almost as an answer to his wordless question. Can I hold your hand? Then she left. Hand back by her side.
Only moments passed, the beach seeming to carry on forever as the pair walked into the night. It didn't matter how late it was. Or how little words were conversed.
It was the company.
He took his move, he had the affirmation now. Fingers dancing across her palm as their skin touched.
Touch sweeped around the back of her own, before hands finally pressed together like pieces of a puzzle.
Connect.
Smiles.
They continued to walk, not a word uttered from the others mouth. A simple hum escaping Lucy's lips as she tightened the grip between them a little more.
Holding his hand was all she needed.

I have no idea what this is and it's very short but I hope you guys like it ^^
(Mine - The 1975)
I also had this idea of adding a little song at the end of some chapters. Sometimes I'm just listening to my music and feel inspired to write so I guess I'll just throw in the song like a little recommendatjon for you guys! Maybe if it's inspired me to write a chapter too.I might add some songs to previous chapters too - I feel like it just gives the book another element, you know?
And hey maybe some of you guys will have a similar music taste to me? :)
Hope you've enjoyed? And do you guys think the music is a good idea?
