Country Dream [Completed ✅]

Gah.....Boys!

I shook my head to clear it and took a big breath. I needed to sort this all out, but first I needed to get up and get ready - Mrs Delton would be out soon, and I didn't want her to see my tomato red face.

I went into the bathroom to rinse my face, and none too soon. Mrs Delton was up quickly, and immeadiatly began cooking up a storm.

Mum, for once, had slept in, which I was glad for.

I got in and helped Mrs Delton cook a massive breakfast, and there were also other things to cook - biscuits, cakes, bread, muffins, scones - all went into the big, hot oven, and came out a beautiful golden brown. The whole kitchen smelt delicious.

I was a bit surprised at all the food, and asked what it was all for.

"Oh, I forgot to tell you all," Mrs Delton responded, "we're havin' a party this afternoon for Mr Delton's birthday, an' you're all invited."

I nodded wisely, thanked her, and kept frying the bacon.

I couldn't belive that Mrs Delton did all this every morning, by herself, because apparently, to put it her words, "the boys get hungry aftern the milkin', an' they sure apprec'ate a bit o' breakky."

My brothers had gone straight down to see the milking being done, and hopefully try a bit of milking themselves, and eventually mum also got up and began helping prepare the food.

As the time for breakfast got closer, I began to try and figure out if I would be pleased to see Mattias again, or embarrassed......but my thoughts were suddenly interupted by Mrs Delton asking me to let the boys in.

Mattias was last, and I couldn't help myself blushing as he past by me. However, I quickly got myself under control, and we sat down to eat breakfast.

I noticed that all through breakfast, Mattias kept glancing at me, then quickly dropping his head down to stare at his food again. I deliberately forced myself to keep calm and ignore him, and this happened all through the meal - I was so thankful that my mum and brothers didn't notice.

He even came back for extras, so he could be served by me. Awkward.....

I wan't quite sure what to do yet.

AN: Hey guys, I'm back again! I was away last week and I also had a important paper to get finished by the end of the week, so I haven't finished typing the whole thing up yet, unfortunately.....
Anyway, so what you y'all think about Mattias? Is he good? Bad? Is Lizzy mad at him for taking her first kiss, d'ythink?
