-Patrick's POV-

My family has been nagging to come out to support Sky during this whole ordeal but I wouldn't let them. She didn't need my sisters in her hair and my mom constantly asking if she's okay. She already had to deal with me being over protective, she didn't need another Kane to worry about. So instead I flew them out this morning so they would be home by the time we go there. Hell, even my dad flew, and he hates flying. I was trying my best to hide the surprise but she was smart and knew something was up, but she didn't push it. I unlock the door as she opens it and my family was standing there waiting for us.

"Oh. my. god" she screams hugging everyone as the mutter incoherent things. There is nothing in life I love more than Skylar and my family, I'm so happy they all work so well together.

"I've missed you so much dear, glad to see you" my mom says, hugging her just a little bit longer.

"I've missed you too! You look great" Skylar exclaims holding shoulder with her hands.

"Look at yourself" my mom says causing them to laugh. I love this.

We all decide to go to the living room and catch up. We saw each other on Christmas but Skylar still loved my family and they adored the hell out of her. We sit and talk about anything that wasn't the trial and things felt back to normal already. Skylar boasts about her job and how good the hockey team was doing. She really knew her stuff and I was so very proud of her. There was a knock on my door and I announce I would get it before springing up and opening the door. I don't remember inviting anyone over and everyone from my family was already here so I wasn't sure who it could be.

"Hey Jake, what brings you by" I ask as he appears in the door frame.

"I forgot some things in the spare room" he announces as I let him in. He walks to the room but stops when he sees three girls and a older couple there that wasn't there earlier. "Oh right. Jake, these are my parents Donna and Patrick and my sisters Erica Jessica and Jacqueline" I say pointing to each person.

"Guys this is Skylar's brother, Jake" I say standing behind him.

"Hey Bud, what are you doing here" Skylar wonders from the couch.

"Just picking up the rest of my things. I'm moving here this weekend so maybe everyone can meet my family soon" he suggests.

"You know I would love to" Skylar says with her million dollar smile. She loved the idea of a family and I'm happy she can finally meet some of hers.

"I have a feeling we will be seeing a lot of each other when we come over here. Meeting your family sounds lovely" my dad concurs and I had to smile. Everyone nods and agrees so we make plans before he leaves. Jake grabs a little bag of his stuff then is on his way doing whatever Jake does.

"He seems great" my mom says with a smile.

"He's probably the only person I think is stronger than Skylar" I admit. Skylar is as strong as they come but that's because Jake helped her get that way. She knew it too, every time we ever talk about her past Jake was always painted as the hero.

My mom and Skylar were in the kitchen making dinner while I played monopoly with my dad and sisters. "You're finally 21 and you're still cheating at this game" Jessica says clearly over my antics.

"Yes, and I'll still be this awesome when in 50" I comment before buying some more of her property.

Halfway through the game I smell whatever was cooking and while Jessica and Erica fought over the game I slide out to see what's cooking. "It smells great in here" I comment looking for the source.

"Well that's because your mother is a superb cook" Skylar says slightly nudging my mom.

"No no no, this is all Skylar" she insists and I roll my eyes. Women.

"Whatever or whoever, it looks amazing" I say kissing Skylar's cheek. We sit down for dinner and enjoy a nice meal and each others company.

"I have a announcement" I state sitting at the table while everyone puts their things down. "I want you all to come to the olympics with me" I say and everyone seemed really excited. I knew my dad wouldn't like to fly but it's a once in a lifetime opportunity. The olympics were in a week and I was a little nervous, just happy the trial was over and we could all relax now.

"Wait, you want me there" Skylar asks with a confused expression.

"Of course I do. If we do bad I'll need you to keep me from self destructing and if we win I want you to be the first person I get to hug" I explain. A awe sounds from my sisters but I didn't care, I just wanted her there with me.

"Okay, I'll come. Only because that means I'll get more time with your family" she insists and I shake my head.

"Whatever you have to say to convince yourself" I laugh and we continue to eat. This should be fun.
