  "Easy." Matt said, helping Jenna inside. "Grab the door Jer." Matt added.

"I'm fine. Stop fussing."

"The doctor said that you have to take it easy mom." I said.

"Yeah, you don't wanna rip the stitches, hemorrhage and die, all right?" jeremy said, as I shot him a look.

"The only thing I'm going to die from is embarrassment. I "walked" into a knife. How does somebody do that?"

"It was a freak accident." Elena suggested.

"Yeah, it happens." Jeremy added.

"I mean, I've done it, like, twenty times at the grill." Jenna laughed, groaning in pain. "Ok, I'm being nice." He helped her onto the couch.

Elena, Jeremy, and I went to carry everything into the kitchen. "So what are we gonna do?" Jeremy asked us.

"Make lunch," I told Jer.

"About Katherine."

"We're not going to do anything, Jeremy."

"She tried to kill Jenna. We can't let her get away with that." He whispered. My puppy came into the kitchen, sitting casually in the corner.

"Yes we can. If it keeps us safe, then we can."

"What if she tries something else?"

"She won't." I said. "Katherine hurt Jenna because I didn't do what she said. Well, I'm doing it now. Me and Stefan are over. She wins. The end."

"You're being naive and you know it." Jeremy said. I looked over at Elena, who was staying silent, making lunch.

"Where are you going?" I asked Jer as he started to leave the kitchen.

"Out. I'll be back!"

"I know you love Misty and you want to be with her, but it's risky." Bonnie told Stefan. "Too many people could get hurt."

"Look, i want Misty back, yes. But it's more than that. What Katherine did to Jenna crossed a line. And she has to be stopped before it happens again."

"I don't know, Stefan."

"Look, Katherine knows me, all right? She knows that I'm not going to try something in a crowd full of innocent people. So that gives me an edge. I can catch her by surprise. And Bethany will help, she's going to go as Misty, and that helps us."

"I could do a spell to trap her. Like the tomb spell."

"Right. We can isolate her away from the others. Please, Bonnie?"

"Ok."

"You know, you're welcome to hang out. Alaric's coming over." I told Matt. "It's gonna be pizza and bad TV.

"I'd love to but I'm going to the masquerade party at the lockwood's. Aren't you?" Matt asked me.

"Uh, no-- not with what's going on with me and Stefan."

"I've got to go. There's something I've got to do."

"What?" I asked him.

"Just something. I can't talk about it. But I've gotta go."

I frowned, but figured it was nothing. "Ok. Well, have fun."

"Yeah, me in a suit."

"You look good in a suit." I told matt with an eyeroll.
