"You monster!" I yell and throw the paper I had found in the bin at my mother.
"Do not speak to your mother like that!" She retorts, her nostrils flaring up. I cross the room to where she is standing.
"You are evil! Cruel! Absolutely horrible!" I scream at her, little specks of spit landing on her face.
"Then leave! I won't do you anymore favours!" She yells, over powering me with her strong voice. I step back shocked, but then gain my confidence back and slap her across the face just like I did to Umbridge.
She whips out her wand and I grab mine, we point them at each other while staring deathly stares. "Crucio!" She screams so suddenly without warning and my whole body jerks.
I wake up from the nightmare, drenched in a layer of sweat. I wipe my face with the sheet on my bed and turn on my lamp.
"It was just a dream," I whisper and take a gulp of the water sitting on my bedside table.
It has been a week and a half of holidays and I still haven't plucked up the courage to confront my mother in worry that she'll react like in the reoccurring dream I had just had.
I check the time on my little clock and it says it's five thirty in the morning. I sigh, knowing I won't go back to sleep and head downstairs, intending to go for a walk out in the cold.
"Narcisa, what do I do if he asks her join?"
I stop dead in the middle of the hallway. The hairs on my arm were standing on end and my heart has stopped, re-started and was now in over drive. You didn't have to be a genius to know who he was.
"Then let her!" Narsica laughs, "he might even do you a favour and kill her for you!" Her laugh is just as evil as herself and my Mother joins in too.
"Shh, we might wake her," Mother laughs.
I widen my eyes and slowly and carefully head back upstairs. Mother wanted to kill me? That was it. I knew she was a bad person but kill me?
I knew I couldn't take this lightly. The seriousness in Auntie Narcisa's voice was frightening.
I throw as many things as I can into my backpack, knowing I couldn't sneak out with my trunk. I pack some clothes, any presents Hermione, Harry or Ron had given me and my school things. To keep warm, i change into jeans and I throw my knitted T sweater from Mrs Weasley on and put on a thick jacket over the top. I chuck on some comfortable sneakers for running and pull my backpack on my back, grab my wand from my bedside table and shove it in my bag and go over to my window. I look back and see the photo of Mother and I. I pick it up and throw it out the window.
My room was on the top storey, but there was a tree that almost stretched to my window. I would be risking falling, but I'd rather fall then go back down by the stairs and be caught.
I quietly pull the window open and a harsh breeze rushes into my room. I balance on the edge and extend my left leg out to reach the branch. I test its strength and it seems strong enough. So I push myself off my window sill and reach for the branch above. I just manage to grip the branch with my hands but right foot slips and I land on my bottom, with one leg either side of the tree. I gasp slightly but bite my lip.
Sliding my body along the branch, I reach the trunk of the tree. The sun was just peaking over the horizon giving me minimal but enough light. I plan my route down the tree and am a meter from the ground when I see it.
A light flickers on in the house, lighting up the window of the living room. Thankfully the living room was at the other end of the house and I take a chance and jump the rest of the way down the tree. As I land, my left ankle buckles and twists and my backpack weighs me backwards so I fall. I push myself to get up and run down the driveway, turn right and run for another minute.
