Arizona's POV
I walk out the door for the warmness of California's summer to hit me in the face. My backpack stationed on my back and my vans on my feet, I began to walk to my Kingdom. Also known as school. I was one of the populars, but I managed to just stay to hang out with my best friends since I was little. Rachel Torre, Marie Andrews, and Autumn Edwards were the only ones who knew the reasons why I played the game of being a player. Its not like I was sasitsfyed of this game, but I have to admit, getting kisses everyday really boosts up my self-esteem. I was the type of girl, who would party whenever there is a party, flirt with any guy that comes in view and etc. People dont see it, but I have high expectations for myself, meaning I'm planning on going to college and my eagerness to learn and straight A's on every report card can prove it.
I make my way to the school yard after about thirty minutes of walking. Being sixteen, I haven't learned to drive yet, but wish I did.
I look around, observing the people around me. Being in high school, girls like to show off their 'goodies' to the world dressing in either, really tight jeans or really short shorts, and also really tight shirts that make their top goodies pop out at you. It may seem like it, but I'm not one of those girls. Not that those girls were doing anything wrong, their confidence was something great and I admire it. I would honestly be wearing a sweater right now, though, if it wasn't so hot, but at the moment I was wearing a H&M Jersey Dress with a skull and flowers at the top part.
The guys were ogling over the girls who were dressed like that, but soon their eyes would be on me, once I came in sight. Which was just in a few seconds.
I make my way past the fence only to catch eyes with my three best friends who were waiting for me, like they said they would. "ARI!" They all three squeal together attacking me with hugs as if they hadn't seen me in ages, even though they saw me last night. "Woah, easy there. I don't want my hair messing up," I answer in reply pushing them off and fixing my hair. "We saw each all yesterday." "True, but we saw the new seniors and thats what made us hyper." "Seniors cant possbly make you hyper." "That one can," Rachel says, pointing her finger into the direction where a senior who was hanging out with the "normals". You see, we had cliques. The populars, the computer geeks, the beauty queens, the drama geeks, the nerds, the jocks,- which fall into populars- the goths, and last, but not least, the normals. This group is made up of the people who dont belong into the groups, and just are normal people in general. I used to be one of them. It was obvious this senior didn't belong with the normals, but with us. He had brown flippy hair, light brown eyes, converse, white skinny jeans, and a white t-shirt that sort of out lined his chest- which, may I say, was quite likable-. I smirked to myself, knowing he was most likely an easy target. Most guys were easy, because your giving guys exactly what their teenage foolish hormones want. Whore Moans. Haha, I crack myself up.
I turn to the girls. "I shall get him over here," I announce with a fake british voice. "And get him first while you guys choose who gets him after." After that, I left without another word.
I make my way over to the five seniors that were next to them, only to have Ryan Hayes glare at me. I smile sweetly at him, blowing him a kiss before turning to the unknown senior that was next to Ryan.
"Hi!" I say waving to him. "Im Arizona, I can tell you're new here. I do know everyone in the school. But I just wanted to introduce myself." Don't you dare say a word Ryan. The boy smiles at me, shaking my outstretched hand. "Arizona? Thats unique and very beautiful name. Almost as beautiful as the girl who owns it. Almost," He says, charming his way to me. "I'm ⁿ00 Tyler Adams, an extreme pleasure to meet you." Kissing my hand, he smiles at me. "So, my friends and I were wondering if you would come and hang out with us," I say, pointing over to the girls, who were watching us. Marie waves while i see Autumn laugh and Rachel look away. "You seemed like a fun guy." I smile my winner smile. "Sure, I would love too," He says, right before turning to the other guys he was talking with. I study the other guys noticing that I had only been with Ryan out of all of them. I look over to Ryan for a second seeing his ever lasting scowl that was always fixtated on me. He holds such a grudge, its so uncool. Tyler turns to me and smiles, so i make my way away from the crowd of seventeen year old boys with Tyler behind me back to my fifteen year old best friends. Well, except for Marie, shes sixteen.
