I flick my pencil back and forth watching the teacher of my biology class write on the board.

"We will be going there in October, get the sheets signed by whomever saying you can go for this two week trip," She announced, and I felt confusion settling into my brain, for I was not paying attention, one bit. "There will also be money charges of one thousand on hundred dollars for the plane ticket and other things." Her slow made me feel like I should fall asleep, and I probably would have if Dana wasn't sitting beside me, tapping the chair with his feet. Thank God for the fake boyfriend. I had settled with calling him the fake boyfriend in my head, so I can assure myself he was fake. I really needed to assure myself of that. After she was done talking, and proceeded to pass out the papers to what she was talking about, I turn to Dana, still confused. "I wasn't paying attention, what was she talking about?" Dana chuckles, but then looks up at me, a worried expression taking place. "You look tired," He says, shaking his head. "I'm not, trust me, it was just her voice," I laugh a little with my own self, which I don't even know why I did. "What was she talking about?" "We're going to Australia for the oceans, to practice something on from it. Your going, right?" He asks, just has the teacher drops the papers there. "I don't see why not, I will miss Will and Mummy, but I think I'll live," I write my name on the paper. "What about the girls, won't you miss them to?" "They'll be with, if they don't have enough money, I can pay," I truthfully say. I made them promise that if they ever needed help with any thing to do with money, I could always help. And so they agreed. We had a small bond that we always had, and I felt bad for spending time away from them. We really did need girl time together. "Usually people don't like other people paying for them," Dana says, raising his eyebrow. "We have a different kind of bond going. I'm rich," I explain, saying the last part sarcastically. He laughs, shaking his head. "So am I, but the boys don't like me paying for them." "Well your boys, guys like doing things for themselves," I argue, looking down at my pencil, playing with it. I bit my lip, Plus you probably haven't been through what we went through. I get distracted by his finger under my chin, pulling me up to look at him. He leans in, giving me a quick peck, before stealing the pencil away from me. "Your going to make me go crazy," He mumbles, pulling back. "Sorry, its a habit," I say, sighing. He laughs, shaking his head, "so is me tapping my feet."

"Its fine Will, I'll be fine," I say into the phone, waving goodbye to Dana. Pulling out my key, I open the door. "I will miss you too much, you can't leave me," He says back. He started freaking out once I told him about the trip we were going on. "Then come with, Volunteer for our group." He sighs into the phone, as I begin walking up my stairs. "I'll see what I can do." I giggle at how serious he sounds, throwing my backpack and keys on my bed. "Okay my dear friend, I shall get ready for my date with Dana," "Oh and tell him that I'm stealing you tomorrow, we need a talk over breakfast." "Okay, Mr. Belhendork." "Goodbye, My almost lover." I hang up, throwing my phone onto the bed, not even worrying about charging it. Going over to my closet, I decide to dress casual and dressy at the same time, dressing with a black skater skirt, a white shirt that said 'nobody cares' and black combat boots. I just put mascara on, and tied my hair up in a messy bun. I smiled at my reflection, going back to my phone. It beeped as it read fifteen precent, I pulled up Danas name texting him that I was ready, before putting it on the charger. I go out of my room, running downstairs, trying to find my parents. When I come into the living room, I have a view of my mother sitting on the couch, watching the fire in the fireplace. I breathe out quietly, walking slowly to the couch. "Do you hate us?" She asks, which gets me taken back. I shake my head, sitting next to her. "Your my mother. I could try to hate you, but I never could," I say, putting my hand on top of hers, looking at the fireplace in front of us. "I've tried to. I thought you abandoned me, until I realized my own feelings." "I didn't mean to, you know that, right?" She says, as a tear began to roll down her face, and I felt my heartbreaking. "I know, mom. I know why it happened, I went out of the world for a while to." "I never wanted either of you girls lives to turn out this way," She says, putting her head in her hands. "And how would you have known it would happen? Sure, my life hasn't been the best with what happened, but I don't care. I have amazing best friends, a boyfriend, and parents who don't replace her, but are there for me after she fell completely down," I defend. "Don't blame yourself for it. If it was anyone's fault it would be the Meyers." She breathes in sharply at the sound of their last name, "I heard their back." I bit my lip, looking at her. "Dana and Will are doing a really good job of keeping Kayla away from me," "Dana knows? You finally told someone else?" I shake my head violently, "We haven't told him." Yet. I shake the thought of telling him out of my head, just as there's a knock on the door. "Speak of the devil, and he shall appear," I say, laughing, and getting up. "I'm going on a date with Dana." She nods her head, a smile appearing on her face. "Have fun." I laugh, "I will." I start heading towards the door, but then stop myself. "And mom?" I say, turning back around. She lifts her head, raising her eyebrows. "I love you." I turn back around, going completely toward the door this time. I open it to see Dana standing there his back to me, black shirt and white skinny jeans, a beanie on his head. I smile, flipping my hair over, "Why hello there." He turns around, and smiles wide once he sees me. "You look great," He states, looking at me, then taking my hand, intertwining our fingers. "I have a special place for you." I look at him, and smile, "Yeah?" He nods, biting his lip. He opens up the door of his car for me, helping me in, which I think was just an excuse to put his hands on my waist. He goes to his side, getting into the car. "I'm going to hate myself for taking you there, though."
