Chapter Twenty-Eight

Okay! Just going to say, I'm so happy you guys actually asked questions :) So, to answer the questions, here we go. (p.s. I was really brave and did this in my second period class okay you're welcome.)

Well, I did some things in the past to Kayla, that I regret. I figured, if I hurt the person she hated she would take back my friendship..

As ironic as it is, he died the same way Bailey did. I, unfortunately, was there to witness it.

I don't know how it happened, but I found myself sitting at my sisters grave, laughing and talking with Kayla. But she was fun to hang out with.

After we both started talking about what happened with us both, we both started just having a good time.

She told me about how she knew Amelia. Apparently, they met when Kayla went on a trip to Brazil. They both bumped into each other, and Amelia was really nice to Kayla. They immediately became best friends after that. When Kayla said she was moving here, Amelia decided to come along too. But when Kayla caught Amelia making out with her boyfriend, their friendship was completely cracked. I guess Amelia was just naturally a homewrecker.

"And remember the time when I came out with the water hose, and threw it at you?" Kayla says, looking back on our memories. We had a frenemy kind of thing. "Yeah, and then Bailey and Hunter started arguing about who even started it, and we just stood there laughing," I giggle at what had happened. "And then the paint war, oh my god the paint war." She laughs at that. When we were supposed to be painting, all four of us got into a paint war that had resulted in all of us getting in trouble by Hunter and my parents. They were really close, and we all usually stayed around at the same house. "Wow, we had lots of fun," Kayla says, sighing. "What even happened?" I shake my head, "Stupid things that had stupid results." "We can be friends again, right?" She asks, but she hesitated before that. "Of course," I say, smiling to her. "It might take the girls some getting used to, but they'll live." One thing about me is that I'm a very forgiving person; especially to those I was before close to. Even though I kept my heart locked up, I was still a very trusting person, though I didn't want to be.

Her phone started to ring, and she looks down at it. She sighs, answers. "What Amelia?" She says, a sharpness to her voice. "What could you possibly want?" She listens to what Amelia is saying, before sitting up from her laid back position. "Well, that's your fault isn't it?" I raise an eyebrow. "How many times do I have to tell you, you're not winning back my friendship. You ruined it by ruining my relationship. You actually think we could be friends after you did the same exact thing to another person? I don't hate her, I hate what happened." She takes her phone away from ear, shutting the call off. "Bitch," She muttered and turned to me. "We should go get ice cream. Ice cream helps sadness." I giggle and nod,

"Amen."

After Kayla and I went and ate ice cream, I found myself back at my house. I was a little anxious over opening the door. Even though I doubt Dana would be there, Will probably kicked him out after I left.

A noise comes from the back of the house right when I open the door, and I come face to face with a running Dana.

"Arizona," He says quickly, biting his lip. "I've been waiting for you." I roll my eyes, crossing my arms. "We both know how that ends." He purses his lips, taking a step towards me. I take a step back, shaking my head, "Where's Will?" Dana glares, turning his face towards the ground. "Why?" "Because he's my best friend and he wants what's best for me," Dana looks up at me, shaking his head a little. "Will is practically in love with you, you know? It's obvious why he was trying to hold me back," Dana accuses. "He wants you, not for you to be happy." I roll my eyes again, glaring at him and the way he talked about Will. "Just like Dalton is in love with me?" I snort, shaking my head. "What are great way to talk about your closest friends. Whats next? Cole is cheating on Marie with me?" Dana furrows his eyebrows, "Why are you being so difficult?" I look to the side, angry with him. "Why did you cheat on me?" "I didn't! I didn't cheat on you," He argues, his voice raising. "And even if I did, I would have a good reason for it." I laugh an unamused laugh, shaking my head again. "And what would that reason be?" Dana bites his lip. "Because I was scared. I told you this. This is the first time I've ever felt any kind of strong feeling, and it hurts. Love hurts. My mind has this thing where when the heart starts to feel a new feeling, my mind will do anything to mess it up. Its a natural thing and it seems to run in he family," He lowered his voice and pursed his lips at the end. "I love you, Princess, and its a new feeling. New feelings are so unknown and alien to me. I'm sorry." "I love you too," I say and could hear my voice quivering. Danas face lit up and I actually felt bad for what I was saying next, "Which is why I should let you go."
