Its nearly sunset as we’re walking side by side at the seashore, holding each other’s hand with fingers intertwined.
Haist, sana ganito na lang kami palagi… I closed my eyes and took a deep breath to feel the late afternoon breeze.
“Ian…” naramdaman ko ang paghigpit ng hawak niya sa kamay ko and he stopped walking.
“Oppa--” itatanong ko sana kung bakit siya bigla huminto but he cut me off.
“Arianne Dominique Andrada…”
Paglingon ko bigla nalang siyang lumuhod, huminga ng malalim and took something out from his pocket.
“…will you marry me?”he showed me ring with diamond on the center. Its simple but elegant white gold ring.
My eyes widened and covered my mouth as my lips formed an ‘O’. Shock was evident to my face.
OH MY GOSH! I can’t believe that this was actually happening to me!
I was speechless for a moment, trying to absorb what he just asked me.
“Uhm… Ian?” I can sense panick from his voice. Masyado yata akong na-absorb sa nangyayari at nakalimutan ko na siyang sagutin.
“Y-YES! Of course! Yes, I will!”
“T-talaga? Jinjja?” (Really?) di siya makapaniwalang tanong sa akin.
“Oo nga! Kaya tumayo ka na diyan!” Hila ko sa kanya. He stood up and pulled me into a hug.
“Saranghae, Ian.” (I love you, Ian.)
“Nado saranghae, oppa.” (I love you too, oppa.)
Kumalas siya sa pagkayap para isuot sa left ring-finger ko ang singsing. He leaned lower until our foreheads meet. I can see it in his eyes his happiness.
“You made me the happiest man in the world my soon-to-be Mrs. Andrei Joseph Lee.” He closed his eyes and leaned closer to me…

“Ian…”
Ian? Did I heared it right? Is AJ-oppa is calling me?
“Ian!...”
Wae oppa? (Why oppa?) Why are you calling me?
“IAN!!!”
