As complicated as death can be, it is really very simple. One moment, out of the infinite amount a person can experience, is all it takes for it to be over. For most it is an accident, a terrible split second gone wrong, but for you, you had this planned. It rarely left your mind.

It was a plague inside your head, clawing and screaming at your insides. It was ripping you into pieces, battling it.. You couldn't fight it anymore. You lost hope a long time ago, but you hadn't built up the courage until now to do what you had always wanted to do.

And walking, tears streaming down your face, the bridge only feet away held your impending doom. It's what you want. It's how it's supposed to be. It's how your story is supposed to end. All the chapters and pages of pain and hurt and misery came to a close right here, right now. You don't know what kind of fucked up game or mind the author had, but you were served this life. You were wrapped up inside the silicon cover and trapped inside the binding. Your only escape being death.

But why you? Why did you get this? Why did you deserve it?! Why was your life written to be this way?! Did you deserve it?! Did you deserve everyone leaving?! Did you diserve your own personal hell?! Why you?!

Pain and hurt pumping through your bones reminded you of every bad thing that ever happened. Everything that made you miserable, that pushed you to this point. It all came back up with more tears and suddenly, the bridge that was only minutes away became too far away. You couldn't take another second of this worthless pain. So you ran.

The brisk air nipped at your face, wind flapping your jacket as you ran, cars zooming past you on the road, none of them thinking to stop.
You needed to be free.
And soon enough you were standing, toes hanging off the legde, looking at the ground below you. From the ground, you look to the sky, your tear-filled eyes begging to be dancing upon them. This was how it was supposed to be. This is what you needed it to be. There was no other option for you. This is it. This is the end of my story, goodbye. You think.

You close your eyes, opening your arms up embrace to the certain death that welcomed you. Breathing in your last breath, the cool night air filled your lungs.

"STOP!" A voice yells out into the night right before you take your last step, snapping you out of the trance you were in. You tried to ignore it, breath in and out, go back to the place you were, but it called out again. "Please! Stop! Don't do it!" The voice is louder, closer.
You crane your next to the side, seeing a man frantically run up, stopping a few steps away, in fear of pushing you over. "Please, don't do this, whatever it is, it can get better. You don't have to end it," He begs. He's begging for you to stay alive, begging you to live in your hell on earth.

"Just go away, leave me alone," you say through clenched teeth, turning back to the stars, begging them to make the man go away. You again tune out his begs, trying to focus on the sound of your breath escaping your mouth, swirling in the night air. Breathing in one more shaky breath, you go to take your last, final step.
You aren't sure what happened, but you have been swooped up into the air, no longer on the bridge anymore, but not falling. You had been tackled down, landing back on the sidewalk. "No!"

A strong pair of arms is dragging you away from your ending.

"Let me go!" You kick and scream, tears threatening to fall again.

"No! I won't let you do this," he fought against your thrashing body, desperate to be off that brige and out of his grip. "Let me go!" You scream again and again. This man's voice attempted to soothe you, but you wouldn't let it. You needed to be gone. Now was your only chance. It was you time.
You slowly are wriggling out of his grasp, knowing that as soon as you get away, you plan to sprint to the edge and just jump. No hesitation, no pause, no glances to the stars. You just will be done.

The man was in too bad of a position to hold onto your desperate body again, so it wasn't as hard to break free and scramble to your feet. You let your legs push you, eyes closing in anticipation, and a smile creeping on your face as your feet leave the ground, praying to meet your finish. But then the smile fades into a horrified look when those same pair of arms are tight around your waist, pulling you back down.
You were in shock as he pulled you back to the taxi that was at the curb.

It registered when you saw the bridge becoming further and further away from you. You screamed again, in agony this time. His grip was much more tight, unwilling to let go. "Let me go!" You screamed again. You were both on the ground, your back pinned against the cab, his hands on your shoulders to keep you locked there.

"Please, don't do this, you don't have to. Things can get better, you have to keep going, please," He said, his blue eyes chilling. Those eyes were so familiar. You knew them, but you just couldn't place it.
