Part 4- Halloween Special

~~Bryce's Pov~

"I'm scared." I whispered as we walked up to the trails.

Delirious was right behind me, giggling nervously. "Don't worry. Everything is going to be fine."

"You don't sound very confident." I said, shivering.

It had to be at least 50 degrees, which wouldn't have been bad if it was so windy. And all I had on was a oversized purple sweatshirt.

"Don't worry. The trails aren't actually haunted. They just say that to get you spooked before we go to where they jumpscare us." Luke says as he turned on his phone flashlight.

Ohm was being quiet.

"You okay?" I asked.

He nodded, but didn't say anything.

"Ohm! I didn't agree to this!" Delirious yelled as he peeked into the dark forest.
I agreed. "How about Jonathan and I stay here?" I said.

There was nobody around and only the bravest people actually take the trails to the park.
The park is where people set up scary props and jump out and scream.

The trails have always been here for over a century. There has been murders, Kidnapping and suicides.
And like 20 years ago, apparently someone tried to summon demons in the middle of it.

"No. If we stick in a group it'll be fine. We aren't leaving you two here." Ohm said.

"Um... I'm not sure about this." Delirious clung to Luke's hoodie.

"We can go back if you want to..." Ohm said taking a nervous look into the woods.

Luke shook his head. "I don't believe in ghost."

"I believe in murders!" I yelled. "I'm scared."

"It'll be fine. I'll protect you." Ohm said taking off his hoodie and handed it to me. "You look cold."

Something about the way he said he will protect me made me feel safe. "You sure?"

He nodded and slowly started heading into the forrest.

I quickly slipped on his hoodie and followed him. Luke and Del behind us.

"Oooh this is so scary." Del said sarcastically as if he wasn't scared before stomping on a branch and yelping.

"Delirious shut up!" Luke yelled.

"Can you two please be quiet?" Ryan asked.

"Yeah, and be careful there are vines." I whispered.

I'm guessing we where in the middle of the trails because there was a giant, wooden sign pointed to where the park is.

"We are getting close! Thank god!" Del laughed.

Cruuunch!

"Uh fuck no!" Delirious said turning around. "The fuck was that?"

"Do y'all want to run the rest of the way?" A nervous Ohm asked.

Snap!

"Don't have to tell me twice!" Luke started running.

Then the rest off us where right behind him.

"Run! Run!"

"Don't look behind us!"

"Luke get your fat ass out of my way!"

"Bryce hurry, catch up."

"I hear another set of feet!"

"I see lights!"

"Goddamnit yes!"

Once we reached the park, I collapsed onto a bench. "Is he gone?" I asked.

Trying to catch my breath.
"I don't see anyone in the woods." Ohm said.

Luke was wheezing, his hands on his knees. "Fuck that."

Delirious has laid down on the ground. "You know the stars are pretty tonight."
He seemed to get over that fast as if not caring that we could've been chased by a murderer.

I looked up.
Thousands of stars decorated in the sky.
"Hmmmhm, they are." I sighed. Finally having my breath back.

I turned my head to look at the park, instead seeing Ohm look at me with a smile.

Luke and Del got up, saying something about getting tickets to go into the scary, handmade house.

"What?" I asked Ohm.

He shook his head and dusted off his jeans. "Nothing. It's just you look cute in my hoodie." He said as he walked towards them.

I sat there confused. "What-? Wait!" I jogged after him.

He chuckled as I grabbed his sleeve for support. "Did you just call me cute?"

He smiled. "Yeah. I did."
