We decided just go to a diner on the edge of the town. Just for a cup of coffee and French toast sticks.

We rode in silence, listening to the radio.

It was storming outside so no one was really around.
As we got out of the car we ran to the door. Taking cover from the downpour of rain.

Not only was it raining it was like 50 degrees. And all I had was a light pullover Ohm had given me before we left.

We sat there for a good 10 minutes before we got our food. But it was not boring. There was this couple dancing to a old juke box.

After we got our food I gave Ohm half of mine. I'm not a big breakfast person.

We talked a bit. Somehow we got on the subject of relationships.

"So you and Cry?" I said sipping my coffee.
Trying so hard not making a face, it's was so bitter.

He smiled a light blush spread across his cheeks. "Haha yeah. He is great. Just..." he let out a sigh. "Felix and Cry are real close. I know I can trust Cry, I just don't trust Felix."

I looked down. Cry is a fantastic person. Remember him stick up for me when Felix had kicked me. Cry and Felix yelled at each other, cry more calmly. But Cry had won and Felix left with a huff and Cry helped me get to the nurse.

"Why don't you trust Felix?" I asked.

He took a bite out of his toast and held out a finger. Telling me to hang on.
Then he drowned his food in sirup.

I laughed as he tried finding a napkin for his stick fingers.
He was about to wipe it on his shirt until I handed him mine.
"You are such a mess." I giggled as he gave me a smile full of food.

He chuckled and wiped his mouth. "Yeah. I don't trust Felix because he is so close with Cry. At first it was so bad, but then they went to the movies together. And Cry called me crying because Felix had kissed him. And he felt as if he cheating on me."

"Awe. Poor Cry."

Ryan wiped his mouth once more. "I kept telling him it was fine. But, he wouldn't let me forgive him. So I invited him over to talk and after awhile he calmed down. Became himself again."

I nodded just as Ryan got a call.
"It's my crazy grandmother." He said with the most genuine smile.

"Hey Nana." I heard a high pitched voice on the other end.

"Yes Nana, I am going to be there for thanksgiving."
Thanksgiving? I thought he really doesn't like thanksgiving.

"I was planning leaving early in the morning on Wednesday. Wait- uh uh. I guess. But my friend is staying with me.... No he isn't bad. He is an angel. Ummm, let me ask. Nana... hold on. I know you 'ain't taking a no for an answer." He laughed.

I raised an eyebrow.

He pulled his phone away from his ear. "You are coming to thanksgiving with me." No questions asked, it seems. I nodded.

"Naaaanaa! She is your daughter...." he mumbled. He looked at me with a forced smile. "I know I know. I won't tell her. Hey! Is Ashley going to be there? Cool! It's never thanksgiving with out her."

I got up to pay for our food. Knowing he probably wanted privacy.
As I gave a lady the money she smiled and thanked me. Telling me to be careful in the rain.
But before I could say anything back she winked at me and whispered, "Keep an eye on your boyfriend. He is a real looker. Also be careful yourself, you are to precious." Her southern drawl made me blush even more.

I thanked her and walked back to Ryan.
"Love you too, Nana. Bye." He hung up and smiled at me.

"Hi."

"Hi."

"You should've let me payed." He said getting up.

"Nah, you can make it up with me by taking me shopping."
