Who would have thought? Akala ko hanggang sa daydream na lang ito mangyayari. Kung sana nandito lang sa tabi ko si Troy para may humila sa buhok ko para malaman kong hindi ako naghahallucinate lang.

I stared at my phone. Ini-screenshot ko pa nga saka ngumiti ng sobrang laki. I closed my eyes and bit my lower lip.

Ethon, what are doing to me?

I sighed then hugged my teddy bear again. Sabi nila, masarap daw magmahal. Hindi ko naman akalain na ganito pala kasarap. Parang yung bad mood mo biglang gaganda kahit sa simpleng bagay na ginawa ng taong mahal mo. Nilike niya lang yung picture na pinost ko pero kinikilig na ko.

I closed my eyes but the huge smile on my face didn't falter. My phone rings at sinagot ko yun agad nang hindi tinitingnan ang screen.

"Hello?" I answered.

"Congrats!" said on the other line.

My forehead creased and sat on my bed.

"Congrats saan, Melissa?" Naguguluhang tanong ko.

I heard her chuckled but cutted immediately "Ethon finally noticed you.. Congrats Lei!"

I laughed wholeheartedly. I felt too light. Just thinking about it makes me feel giddy.

"You're happy now?"

"Sobra.." I unconsciously replied.

"Uh.. sige. I'll hung up na, Mom's already calling me. Bye. May pasalubong ako sa inyo pag-uwi ko," she said then ended the call.

Nahiga ulit ako sa kama ko saka pumikit. Paano ako makakatulog nito? I sighed but the smile on my face didn't fade.

The next day I was awakened by a loud ring from my phone. I carefully answered it with closed eyes. "Hello?"

"Good morning Lala!" someone greeted on the other line.

At first, I thought it was Troy, but then I'd realized, Troy never been that loud.

"Nico?" I frowned.

I heard a laughed from the other line "The one and only. Are you free today? Tara, breakfast tayo"

My forehead creased.

"You won't regret if you decided to join me now," he quickly added.

I got curious so I agreed. I left my bed and took a bath. I wore a black sweatpants and fitted T-shirt and slippers. Doon lang naman kasi kami kina Nanay Milly na dalawang bahay lang ang pagitan samin. I received a text from Nico saying he's already there kaya nagmadali akong magsuklay at magpabango.

"Bat di ka pa umorder?" tanong ko pagkarating ko sa lugawan.

Nico smiled at me, "Saglit lang, may hinihintay pa tayo," he said.

I tilted my head and examined his expression.

"Sino?"

He just smiled as an answer. Hindi na ko nagpry, hindi naman ako mapilit e.

"He's here!" he announced.

"Sino?" I asked again.

"Akala ko hindi ka na dadating," Nakangising sabi ni Nico habang nakatingin sa likuran ko.

I was surprised to see Ethon when I looked over my shoulder. I feel like my heart jumped in excitement the moment I lay my eyes on him. Akala ko ang OA lang nang sinasabi ng mga bida sa romance novels na nababasa ko, pero ganun pala talaga yung pakiramdam sa totoong buhay. Hindi ko inalis ang tingin sa kanya hanggang sa makalapit siya samin. I thought susunod siya kay Melissa.
