You Look Happy

"Hey, Tommy!" Caitlin greeted, entering the restaurant next morning for work. 

"You look happy," he replied, gesturing to the glowing smile on her face that he hadn't seen in a long time.

"Maybe. I met someone last night. He's taking me to dinner tonight. He's amazing,"

"What's his name? I hope I get to meet him,"

"His name is Barry and he's a forensic scientist at CCPD. And you will meet him because he's picking me up from work later,"

"That's great, Caitlin. You deserve something that makes you happy. And I can see that he makes you happy,"

A few hours later, Felicity entered the restaurant. "Caitlin! I want details! Did you sleep together?"

"Felicity! Shush! And no we didn't sleep together but he did stay the night. But he's taking me to dinner in exactly two hours. I'm so excited! You have to help me pick what to wear,"

"Come on, let's go shopping!"

"Fel, I'm working,"

Felicity shot Tommy a pleading look and he nodded in approval.

An hour and a half later, Caitlin and Felicity were getting Caitlin ready for her date. She was wearing a cute red dress that ended just above her knees, a pair of white heels and a white jacket. Her lips were painted a rosy red. She looked extremely beautiful and Felicity was sure that Barry would love it.

Half an hour later, Felicity had gone and there was a knock at the door. Caitlin rushed to the door and opened it.

When Barry saw her, he completely lost the ability to speak. She looked so beautiful there's no way you could even describe it.

Caitlin took the silence as a compliment and leaned in to kiss him. Although they shared a brief kiss before they parted this morning, they had missed the feeling of each other's lips. 

After about a minute, they pulled away and left the apartment building for the romantic dinner they had planned. They weren't sure whether they were dating but they definitely wanted to.
