Nervously, Caitlin walked inside to collect her finial report card. This either meant the begining of a great career or, well she didn't want to think about the other option. She picked it up, started at it for a few seconds then opened the envolope and took the card out from inside. Her nervousness turned to delight as she saw that she had passed with flying colours, a spotless GPA!
Elated, she ran home and almost had a panic attack, she was so happy. (or as us fangils or fanboys would call it, dying of feels). She knew that she'd have to wait to break the news and she knew exactly who she was going to tell first but that certain someone was at work and she didn't want to tell anyone before him. So, she watched a movie to pass the time.
After the movie finished, she found herself looking for jobs at hospitals. The ideal place would be at Central City General but that was a long shot. However, their was one vaccancy there and considering her boyfriend's dad worked there and promised to put in a good word in for her so maybe she had a chance. She decided to apply for the job, she sent in her updated resume and hoped for the best.
Feeling like she wanted to relax, she jumped out of her seat and went to go run herself a bubble bath. After a while, she closed her eyes and almost drifted to sleep. But she didn't. Because for the first time in what seemed like a long time, she wasn't tired or sleep deprived. Fot the first time in a long time, she was happy, and it was all because a certain forensic scientist.
About an hour later, she got out of her bath, feeling very relaxed. She dried her hair and put on some shorts and a t-shirt for some more lazy time. She couldn't be bothered to put on any makeup and she didn't feel pressured to wear any. After all, Barry was always telling her she didn't need it. Smiling as she thought of him, she sank into the sofa, feeling the butterfiles in her stomach and her heart beating at a million miles per hour.

A couple hours later, she was making pasta when she heard the door open and shut behind her. Moments later, she felt two arms around her waist, hugging her. She turned her head slightly and kissed him lightly before continuing with dinner, deciding to tell about her results later.
Soon the time came over dinner...
"So, I got my finial report card. And I passed with flying colours, spotless GPA and all," she smiled.
"That's amazing! You are truly amazing and you are gonna be the best doctor in the city, just you wait,"
"Awww, thanks babe. I feel like I don't say this enough but I love you,"
"I love you too. When do I get to meet your family?"
"First boyfriend I've ever had who wants to meet my family. And they are visiting over the weekend anyway so you'll meet them then, but first ground rules: My brother's name is Nathan, he is very overprotevtive of me so expect hostile behaviour. He's a psychology professor in Keystone City. Consequently, he's really good at reading people. Give him one sign to make him distrustful or not not like you and he'll never come round do be wary of that. My mother is very... distant. To both me and Nathan, she drops in every few months and then walked right back out again. Don't bring up my dad at all or she'll probably have a panic attack,"
"Okay, I think I got it,"
"Then you're all set,"
