"Harry! Come here!" I shout.
Harry sprints over quickly, Marion taking his place to help Gemma tend to the others.
"Harry, on the count of three, I want you to remove the plank as fast as you can. Ellen I want you to begin pouring water onto the wound, clean, it and stitch it as fast as you can." I say.
I put the two halves of the geode together. When suddenly it formed back into one whole geode, just like Niall had found it back at the cave. I poured water on it to clean the dirt off.
This could be the life or death of Niall.
I lean down and press a kiss to Niall's forehead and run my fingers through his hair.
I look back at Harry and begin to count...
"One, two... Three!"
Harry quickly pulls out the plank and I put the geode inside of the wound. I helped Ellen sterilize it and stitch it together. After about ten minutes we had every wound closed and cleaned up.
I look at Niall and wait. I hear Liam and Louis start to gasp and we all look over to them. They're up and walking towards us. Their wounds are gone. How?
"No way." Ellen says, shocked.
"Louis' Achille's tendon was cut which usually makes you unable to walk permanently. And Liam's hand was broken and his leg was severely cut. It would have took weeks for his leg to heal." She said.
"Ellen!" Marion shouts.
"The gash on your face is fading!"
We all look to Ellen and we are completely shocked by what we are witnessing. Her gash is fading away. Like someone is pouring water on it to erase it.
We all look back at Niall who's still laying limp. Suddenly, a blue light shines brightly in front of us and week look up. Everyone gasps except for me.
"Flight." I say relieved.
"Jodie my job here is done. Before you question me, let me explain. My job was to lead you to your destiny. Whether it was to go to that bunker or that island or even the treehouse. I knew you were going to leave the group before you even thought about doing that. Your destiny was not to make it to a specific place to survive. Your destiny was to be reunited with Niall and your family." He smiles.
"All I have left of my family is Ellen." I say, sniffling a bit.
"No, this entire group is your family. You all need each other. I led you to every one of these people despite the circumstances of some enemies you may have faced. But I knew that bringing you all together would be for the best. You're with your family now and my quest is complete. You will no longer need me Jodie."
Tears are running down my face. I get up and walk towards Flight and pull him into a hug and pull back. He smiles and puts his hand on my shoulder.
"Take care of that family Jodie. Especially her." He points towards my stomach.
"It's a girl?" I ask shocked. He doesn't respond but smiles brightly.
"I'll always be watching over you. I promise." He gently squeezes my shoulder and begins to glow.
He begins turn into what looks like stardust and circles around us and bursts in the sky. Creating more stars in the constellations above. A white dove appears and flys around us and then disappearing into a nearby tree.
He was Mother Earth and Father Sky. Flight was nature himself. The geode. Wait.
I run back to Niall and put my hand on his forehead. He's running a fever. But at least he's still alive.
"Come on guys, let's get Niall and get to the treehouse." I say.
Liam and Harry carefully lift Niall onto my horse and strap him to the saddle so he doesn't fall off. I wrap a blanket around him to keep him warm.
We all grab our supplies and get onto the horses, heading back towards the tree house for the night.
