Day 144, Monday, October 1st, 3:12pm

The group adjusted to the treehouse quite quickly. They loved it actually. Liam, Harry and Louis were outside fixing it up from the hurricane damage to make it more safe.

Marion and Ellen have been knitting blankets in the family room since it's getting cooler out and Autumn is setting in. I was sitting with Niall in one of the pod bedrooms that faced the ocean.

Niall's been in a coma for over 2 weeks. But his wounds are healing quite fast. I'm guessing the geode was really magical in a strange way.

I run my fingers through his hair and caress his face, smiling sadly. I don't know when he's going to wake up.

I slowly lift up the blanket and lift up his shirt to check on his stitches. They're slowly starting to fade. I'm guessing they're the dissolving stitches. The geode is healing him faster than usual.

"I'm so sorry I left Niall. I was just so scared. I guess I also tried to run away from myself." I laughed to myself.

"I should have never left. None of this would have happened." I begin to tear up.

"That doesn't matter anymore. What matters now is that you're still alive." I continue to run my fingers through his hair.

I then grab his cold hand and squeeze it gently. I lean down and peck him on the cheek.

"I love you. I always have. Now that we have her..." I bring his limp hand to my belly and place it on the small bump.

"We have something we can love together." I let out a small sob. Placing my hand over his.

"She needs you Niall. I know you'll be the best daddy to our little girl despite that this world has collapsed." I finish. I continue to silently cry while holding his hand onto my bump.

I lay down with him for what feels like forever. Not moving from that position. I stare out at the sea and watch the waves crash along the shore. When suddenly I feel something.

I look down and I see Niall's hand twitching.

I quickly up at Niall to see his breathing getting heavier. I feel his hand start to squeeze mine just the tiniest bit.

"Niall?" I question. Scared to move or say anything just for it to be false hope.

Suddenly, his eyes slowly open and he looks up at the ceiling. I am astonished and utterly shocked. They're glowing. His eyes are literally glowing. They're not dark blue anymore but a bright light turquoise sky blue. The same color as the geode crystals.

I freeze up, not knowing hot to react. He inhales deeply and and blinks. He shakes his head and looks around. Confused of his surroundings.

He looks to me and his jaw drops.

"Jodie?" His bright eyes have tears in them.

"Please tell me this isn't a dream." He stutters weakly.

I don't say anything. I just pull him into a hug but making sure to be careful of his stitches. He wraps his arms around me. He pulls away and grabs my face and kisses me. Not parting away from me once.

He pulls back and I look into his eyes. Happy tears are flowing down his cheeks. I begin to speak up.

"Niall, I just wanted to say-"
