High School Life Part 3:The Dare

It was a Friday morning,Kate walked to her locker with Lanie.She kept some of her things in her locker and when she closed her locker Rick was waiting on the other side."Hey" he said.Kate jumped then accidentally punching him in the face."Ow!Seriously" he exclaimed.Lanie laughed then said "That's what you get for scaring someone that's amazing in self-defense".He rubbed his nose and Kate huffed a breath "Do you have to do that?" she sounded angry."You're the one that hurt me,why are you mad?" he asked still holding his nose."Because you scared me" she said.

"Ok ok I'm sorry.I just wanna give you this" he handed her a cup of coffee,she took it but then she gave him a look."What's with that look?" he asked."Why are giving me this?" she asked suspiciously."I just wanna give you coffee,that's not a crime" he said."Why didn't give this to Lanie then?" she still looked at him suspiciously."She doesn't drink coffee,but she never tell me why,and she told me once that you like coffee" he explained.She turned to look at Lanie now "You told him about me?" she asked."I didn't mean to,it just came out during one of our fights" she answered.

"Hey Kate" Rick called from behind her."What?" Kate turned around and saw him smirk.He pointed at a direction,when she turned to look,she saw Shane."Let's do the dare today" Rick said and it made Kate turn to face him.She completely forgot about the dare."I didn't bring anything to prank him with" she said."Don't worry,this school has a lot of stuff that you can use for pranking" Rick grinned."Fine,let's do it today" Kate said and they shook each other's hands then walk away to the opposite direction of each other to start planning.

Kate walked past Javier when she walked away but when he greeted her she didn't say anything.Javier approach Lanie who seems to be very amused then he saw Rick walk the opposite direction of Kate."Hey" he greeted Lanie."Hey" she greeted back.He pointed towards Kate with his thumb then asked "Are they fighting or something?"."They technically are,remember yesterday?The dare they made with each other?" Lanie asked him,he tried to remember everything that happened yesterday."Oh...You mean the pranking dare?They're doing that now?" he asked then she just nodded and laughed.

"What's so funny?" Kevin asked suddenly appearing from behind Javier."Rick and Kate are doing the prank dare today" Javier answered."They literally walked off from here like they just had a fight" Lanie said still smiling."What do you guys think they'll do?" Kevin asked as he leaned against a locker and crossed his arms over his chest.Javier just shrugged and Lanie said "I guess we'll just have to wait to find out".She closed her locker then walked to the direction that Kate went.Javier was staring at her until she was out off range then he felt a punch."What was that for?!" he asked angrily."Tell.Her.How.You.Feel" Kevin jabbed Javier lightly at his shoulder with each word then walked away shaking his head and leaving Javier all alone.Javier decided to go to the direction that Rick went.

Javier found Rick,but now he regretted even trying to find him in the first place.Rick pulled him in an empty art room then told him his entire plan.".....and that's how I'll get 50 dollars richer" he said with a grin."Why do you need my help again?" Javier asked after listening to the plan."I need you to lure him here and into my trap" Rick answered."Oh and you forgot the part where I get killed for doing so" Javier said then crossed his arms.

"Don't worry,you'll wear a disguise" Rick said then he handed him a black hoodie with a baseball cap and a pair of sunglasses.Javier looked at him questioned "Are you serious right now?'Cause I don't find this very funny" Javier said then he tossed everything back to Rick."What's wrong with the disguise?" he asked.

"Maybe it's the fact that I'm suppose to lure someone but they can't even see my face and I'm indoors.Wearing sunglasses.How is that logical?" Javier reasoned.Rick thought for a moment "You have a good point" he thought of a new plan and was about to tell Javier but the bell rang."Meet me here during lunch.Bring Kevin too,I need his help with this new plan" he said then walked to his first class of the day.Javier shook his head then went to his class too,silently praying that he won't get killed today.
