-Evangeline's POV-

Evil. Wicked. Disgusting. Rude.

He was all of them.

I was officially and absolutely done with Mr. Sandman.

He was a murderer. He was a kidnapper. And he was a very unfortunately attractive man.

As I'm sitting in my chamber I think about what is happening. Am I better off here than with my boyfriend and a miserable life?

Maybe.

"Hey loner, you have training today." I hear from above me. I look up to see Mr. Sandman standing above me with a monotone look.

I stare at the wall for what seemed like years. I can't do this. But I can't live my normal life either. Honestly I think I might be somewhat more "happier" here.

My emotions are so screwed up and beyond fixing but I turn around to face the devil himself.

"What can I do for you?" I ask him in a soft voice. My eyes a glossy because I had finally just accepted what's going on.

"Get up and get changed. You have training and we have another mission tonight." He said throwing clothes at me then disappearing.

I quickly get changed in the workout pants and lose black shirt then on to the black tennis shoes. My hair is still pretty fresh from yesterday's shower so I throw it up in a smooth ponytail then wait.

He comes moments later then we leave for the workout room.

My lungs can no longer function. My legs can no longer move me forward in life. My hair, my somewhat fresh hair is now sweaty and matted to my head.

"You pussy." I hear Sandman say from the corner of the boxing rink. He's barely breathing hard while I'm breathing like it was my first taste of the wonderful thing called oxygen. I stand up from my laying down position and glare at him.

"Shut the hell up." I mutter and go to get a drink. In a flash he was standing in front of me.
"What was that?" He growls.

My heart starts to beat faster and my hands become sweatier. Oh God, he heard me. I'm dead now and there's nothing I can do to stop it because he rules me. Well at least this might be better than the life I'm living and was living.

"N-nothing." I whisper. He turns and picks up my water bottle, examines it then dumps it all out while looking at me. My dry throat instantly became dryer.

"There's one think you should learn and you need to learn it fast." He said chucking the water bottle across the room then coming closer so he's in my face. "When I say 'what' you answer me or I will find another alternative for your voice."

I stare at him with fear in my eyes. How could someone be so intimating? How could I possibly be so scared of someone that I'm thinking death is a better option than this?

"What did you say?" He bellows. I jump back but keep my composure.
"I said shut the hell up." I say in a slightly braver voice.

He smirks and nods looking around. His mouth kisses his teeth in what looks like annoyance. He then whips back around and with the remaining force he had left his forces push me to the ground hard. Hard enough that my head hit the mat and I was seeing stars. My mouth wouldn't move due to the fact that his force was keeping it shut.
