-Evangeline's POV-

I woke up with the sun shining through the windows. The house was quiet and still, but the atmosphere was calm and cozy.

I decided to shower this morning but as I was exiting the room I ran into someone. That someone was Grayson who was waiting outside my room.

"Can I talk to you?" He asks running a hand through his hair.

"I guess." I say unsurely. He nods and pushes me back in my room then closes the door.

"Grayson, what is this all about?" I ask getting nervous.

"I just saw things last night." He said quietly. I look at him to continue and he sighs.

"Sandman. He came out of your room with no pants on and Sandy was all red faced when he left." He muttered.

Oh my god.

My face got red as he said this. He looked over at me and rolls his eyes.

"So things did happen?" He asked with a bitter tone.

"Grayson, you and I are not together and we weren't together. I don't know why you have this feeling of possession for me but I won't have it." I state clearly.

"You didn't answer me." He mumbled.

"Jesus Christ, Grayson! Yes we did things, okay! But that isn't any of your business, is it?" I spit.

"Do you have feelings for him?" He asked looking out the window. I breathe out a heavy breath and throwing hands up.

"Grayson, I'm human. Of course I have feelings for him." I say more soft. He nods and looks at me.

If only Grayson was less of a psycho path then he would be perfect.

"Well same can go for me to you. I really like you Evangeline. You were the only girl who gave me the time of day when you showed up but not anymore. You've fallen into his trap and now you're stuck in it, no escaping." He spit looking at me.

"I don't know what you're talking about. His trap? He doesn't have a trap. And if I'm in it the so be it because your trap is far worse than his would ever be." I say looking at him with stern eyes.

Grayson didn't even flinch at my words he only clenched his teeth and prepared for what he will fire back.

"I could only hope mine would be worse than his for all of the shit you've done to me." He ground out and left the room.

Well that escalated quickly.

My eyes were wide as I saw him leave. My heart kind of hurt as he said those things. I feel like I shouldn't be sad but Grayson wasn't like this until Payne came along.

I started to walk out of the room but then I heard more footsteps coming up the stairs.

"Hey." I heard someone shout at Grayson. I peeked slightly around the corner just to see who it was. It was Payne.
