-Evangeline's POV-

I️ was yanked out of bed and thrown against the wall. It was so dark in the room therefore I️ couldn't see who it was, but I️ had a sick feeling about it.

I tried to scream but a meaty hand slapped over my mouth shushing me and pressing me against that wall so tight that I️ couldn't even kick.

"Shut up." He bit out in my ear. I️ was thrown over his shoulder and in that amount of time he released my mouth.

My screams could be heard everywhere.

I screamed as loud as I️ could as he pushed me out the window and into someone else's arms. As soon as I️ was out he window I️ heard someone running up the steps.

I️ was hoping to God it was Payne.

My kidnappers shoved me in what I️ assume was a car but as I️ looked up at my window with tears in my eyes, I️ saw Payne looking distraught and panicked.

The van drove away, kicking up rocks as it went. My head slammed against the side and I started to scream before tape was put over my mouth to keep me quiet. When I sat up and looked out the very small window I saw two figures running after the van, one being Payne.

I saw him hold out his hand in attempt to stop the van with his powers, but nothing happened. The van continued to drive on and farther away from all of them, my home.

When his powers continued to work, he started to sprint towards the van in attempt to stop it himself this time. I banged on the window, yelling for him.

I was yanked back by someone who made me smack my head off the floor of the van. My vision went blurry, but when I finally looked up I saw someone who would haunt me for a very long time.

I saw Matt and someone who shocked me to my core.

And that man was sitting right next to him with a smug look on his face and a blood boiling smirk haunting his lips.

Grayson.

My eyes widened with complete shock and before I could do anything he lunged forward, smacking me with something hard enough to knock me out.

When I woke back up I was in a secluded room with nothing else but the chair I was laying down on and tied to.

My head was pounding and the bright lights were not helping what so ever. My wrists felt bruised from how tight the restraints were and there were random cuts all down my open arms.

When I tried to sit up my stomach clenched in pain and I coughed up some blood. I laid back down sniffing and holding back some tears.

Thoughts ran through my head of how much I wanted Payne right now. I wanted him like never before. I missed his touch, his kisses, his smell, everything.
