Song: Snap Out Of It- AM
•••-Evangeline's POV-
We are officially screwed.
Why?
The flash drive that me and Sandman basically risked our lives for is blocked. Not just blocked but blocked by the best security ever.
Max was a good hacker but he wasn't that advanced. I'm pretty sure no one was.
"We have no lead." Max mutters. Sandy looked out the window with a blank face.
No one knew what to do.
Grayson had just been sitting there with his head in his hands.
After Sandman threw a fit and started to throw things, he sat down and started to smoke.
I was sitting right next to him as he puffed out rings with his smoke. The crackle from the lit cigarette was loud in the dead silent room.
"Stop." I whisper directed at him. He turns his head slightly just looking at me from the corner of his eye then blows out smoke slowly from his parted lips.
"Can't and won't. It doesn't hurt me because I am already dead." He muttered sucking in smoke.
Sandy leaned his head against the window and swirled the alcohol around in his drink.
I checked the time and saw that it was midnight.
"I'm going to bed." I mumbled and stood up unsteadily as my muscles tightened from sitting down for so long.
"Me too." Grayson said and Max nodded standing up too.
"Don't fuck." Sandman mumbles just under his breath so Grayson didn't hear but I did.
"Don't tell me what to do." I whispered as I walked out but I knew he heard as I saw his head snap up just from the corner of my eye.

My insomnia got the best of me tonight. I later tossing and turning unable to sleep. All I could hear were the distant snores of the other boys as they slept peacefully.
With a grumble I threw off my blankets and headed to the kitchen for a drink.
But there was Sandman sitting at a bar stool with a cigarette in his mouth not lit.
"Why are you up?" I ask groggily. He doesn't even jump. Doesn't even turn around.
"I don't sleep." He said with a hard voice. He took the cigarette out of his mouth and threw it on the counter.
"Why do you keep smoking if it does nothing?" I whisper moving to the sink. He doesn't look up as I move past him.
"So many questions." He grumbled. "I smoke because it's somewhat satisfying even though I don't feel it. Maybe the way it feels between my fingers. Maybe the sound it makes when I suck in. Maybe it's the smell."
He never looked up as he twirled the cigarette between his fingers. I do a once over of him and realize he's completely shirtless. There were faint scare on his chest but none that were too drastic.
