Song: Somebody Told Me - The Killers
•••-Evangeline's POV-
I came out of my room about an hour later. Payne had left a little earlier to not seems super suspicious even though they probably already knew.
All of a sudden, I heard yelling. No, not yelling. Screaming. Not in a painful way. It was a scream of anger and killer instinct.
It was Payne.
"Find him!" he screamed. "I want them dead and gone, forever."
"Payne, you had an opportunity to kill them, but you didn't." Sandy shot back. There was silence and I could tell Payne was very pissed.
"What did you say?" He spit.
"You had the opportunity to kill them, but you didn't. You went easy and now they're back and better than ever." Sandy argued. All of a sudden I heard footsteps then a thud.
"You're telling me that I leave the girl that is my soulmate to kill two men? It's not fucking worth it." Payne bit out.
"Then stop throwing a bitch fit and kill them." Sandy choked out. I now assumed Payne had him pressed against the wall by his throat.
"I don't want Evangeline there." He whispered.
"She won't leave you, Payne. Either she is there or she isn't there at all and on a plane back home. You'll probably have to force her, just saying." This time Sandy's voice was clear.
"She's so fucking stubborn." Payne mumbled. I walked down the stairs a little more and peaked into the office room where he two twins stood.
"We have to end this, Asher." Payne sighed rubbing a hand over his handsome face.
"When?" Sandy asked.
"Now, that's all the time we have." Payne grumbled and sat down into a leather chair.
"What do we do?" Sandy questioned. Payne dipped his head down in defeat.
"I don't know." Payne whispered.

The next day was silent in that there was planning going on. The guys still didn't tell me that the Rebels were back and ready to attack, even though I knew.
Max knew as well that they were going to attack. Sometimes they would all go into Payne's office during the night and the door would be locked for god knows how long. They didn't think I knew, but as soon as Payne's warm body wasn't next to mine, I woke up.
I would sneak down stairs and listen to what they were saying in hushed tones, attempting not to wake me up. They spoke of weapons and plans that may work or may fail horribly.
As the day passed on and we all headed to bed. Payne once again was up and as were the other two and they headed to the big office only to lock the door from me.
This was the 5th night that this has happened and I sat outside the door quietly as I listened to their plans.
"How do we get there?" Max asked. Payne cleared his throat and spoke to the very tired men.
