Vanessa's POV

I WOKE up early and decided to run just a few minutes, since they're still sleeping. Especially, Eric.

He sleeping on Jaime's room because he gave me the informations I needed about the Black Blood Gang

Of course, I didn't let him to sleep beside Jaime but what else could I do? He gave me those informations and he is my . . . friend?

'Tss. Whatever it is.'

I sat on a bench as my butler James gave me my tumbler. They are all here and I hate it.

Who wouldn't be? Six bodyguards following you, with butler James.

'That sucks.'

I didn't know that one of my guards are seriously guarding me and will update my uncle from time to time

After I drank the water, I've decided to rest for a while and look around

While I was sitting here on the bench beside the trees, bunch of leaves fell.

They were about to remove it but I glared at them

'Why do they keep guarding me? It's just a bunch of leaves! It won't hurt me.'

But I noticed something beside me. It's a letter, with a letter W.

'Maybe it fell also from the tree,'

I took a glance on my bodyguards, thank God. They aren't looking at me.

I slowly opened the letter even though it's not mine

Good morning,

Seeing you makes me so damn happy, literally happy to be exact. You know what? I am always watching you behind your back, but hey. Don't be afraid of me, I am not your enemy.

I just want to protect you. Yes, I know you are the Mafia Queen but still. I don't care, I want to protect you and guard you.
