Vanessa's POV

"GOOD morning, Queen." Cathy yawned "Good morning," I replied "Where's Jaime? Still sleeping?"

She scratched her head "Hmm," is she still asleep?

Hours had passed and I spent my time here in the dining room making some brownies "What's that?" She pointed the brownies

"These?" I showed her "These are brownies made by me."

I hate the fact that I know how to bake brownies but I don't know how to cook. That's hell.

"Can I taste it?" I nodded as she took a bite "Hmm! You never changed, Queen!" I smiled with that

She ate another brownie but I didn't mind. Instead someone came inside my mind, it's Eric.

It would be happier if he's here.

'I miss my friend,'

"Queen?" I looked away "Okay 'ka lang?"

What should I say? "Of c-course," I answered "I'll excuse myself." I forced to smile and showed her my hands that are full of chocolate sprinkles

Without waiting for her reply, I walk towards the sink and wash my hands "Queen, anong feeling ng may gusto ka sa isang tao?"

My forehead knotted "Why are you asking me that question?" I couldn't help not to chuckle

'Seriously? Why me?'

"Wala lang, hehe." She laughed "I'm just curious kasi."

"What's with the sudden question?" I faced her after I washed my hands "Do you like someone?"

A maid come near me and dried my hands using a towel. She even use alcohol to remove some kind of germs

"Hindi naman sa like, parang crush?"

I almost slipped with that, "That's enough." The maid bow and walk away, I glanced at Cathy "What did you say? Crush?"

"Hmm," she nodded

"Cathy, are you insane? You're not a kid anymore." I laughed

"Queen naman." She pouts but I shrugged my shoulder "I'm telling the truth, Cathy."

I sat on a stool and crossed my arm "So, who's the guy?" I asked

She almost shriek with that "Secret muna, Queen." I rolled my eyes

"Whatever, Cathy. Just don't get pregnant." I said "People nowadays are traitors."

I smiled evilly "Is your guy one of them?"

She shooked her head "Queen naman!"

This is the bonding I like "I was just kidding, you always take my jokes seriously."

IT'S TWO in the afternoon and I was so bored at home, I've decided to stay here in Avalon to practice and to exercise my muscle.

It's been a long time so maybe, I need to exercise.

Somehow, I remember Eric in this place. He wanted to go here, because he don't know how to fight or use any armors.

I sighed, but maybe all of it was a lie and part of his plan. I suddenly looked away and lay my back on the seat

A trainer came in front of me "Queen," she bowed

Why do I feel so tired? "Someone gave me these and he said that these are for you."

Out of nowhere, I sat on the seat and get it. She immediately bowed and turned her back away from me

I opened it harshly due to curiosity. My eye balls almost fell on what I saw.

Before my saliva fell, I closed my mouth in an instant. I was about to close the paper bag but I saw a letter on it

My phone suddenly rang that woke my senses up, I took my phone out from my pocket and answered the call

"Queen, speaking."

[Did you like it?] My left eyebrow raised [I was the one who cooked that, eat well.]

I can feel that he's going to hang up that's why I spoke "—wait!"

But heck, he ended the call. I rolled my eyes with that, that moron!

SINCE I have nothing to do but to stay at my room, I've decided to roam around her in our subdivision.

My eyes looked around and started to search for him, but even his freakin' shoes was cannot be seen!

I get my gun from my pocket that made the guards get their guns. I cursed, was that Eric?

My eyes stopped at someone who's riding his motorcycle. He's staring at me

The bodyguards behind my back came near me and formed a circle, making me stand in the middle of the shape
