Vanessa's POV

WHAT THE heck is that? Vanessa—what?

'Can someone enlighten me?!

"You scared?" Me? Scared?

"What are you talking about, huh?" Yes, that's it. Don't stutter! "I am not scared!"

My eyes widened when he leaned closer to me, "W-what do you think you're doing?"

But he grinned at me, and why are you grinning mister whoever-you-are?

Silence came in but after a few seconds he chuckled,

I pushed him away "And w-will you please stop coming closer!"

His left eyebrow raised with that

'Did he just raised his left eyebrow at me?!'

Before I explode here, I sighed "Look, mister whoever-you-are, stop bugging me."

"And why?"

"Because I hate it!" I shouted "And don't smile at me like that," I looked away

He laughed and placed his lips on my head "Damn it, you're still cute even though you're mad."

I was about to push him but he hugged me, so fuckin' tight "L-let go of me," I almost whisper,

"Don't let someone hurt you, Vanessa baby." He kissed the top of my head

My lips parted and was about to talk when he let go of me and walk away,

I felt a sudden pain,

A few seconds passed and I realized what happened,

I ran away and find him but, I couldn't see him, even his shadows.

'What just happened?'

"VANNIE, pinapaalala ko lang. Hindi tambayan ang opisina ko, nagtra-trabaho ako,"

Eric scolded me, "And my mansion isn't a hotel so stop staying in my place!" I gritted my teeth

When mister whoever-he-is left me, I came in Eric's office. I even asked him if he has the list of the customers today and he said yes,

But hell! I remembered, I don't know his effin' name!

So, I had no choice but to bug his books and read those.

"Oy, Vannie. May kasalanan ka sa 'kin!" He glared at me as I raised my left eyebrow "Nakipag away ka na naman, kanina! Gusto mo talagang isumbong kita, 'no?"

I frowned. I didn't even touch Lennox, but that suspicious guy did!

"Syempre, ako pa?" He smiled widely "Pero, Vannie?"

"Pero, Vannie?" I glanced at him "Baka naman secret admirer mo 'yon?"

He nodded "Malay mo diba?" He chuckled "Tsaka malay mo din kalaban?"

"Alam mo naman, Vannie." He cleared his throat "Ang mga kalaban ngayon matatalino na, kung sila nga dumidikit sa iba para makahingi ng impormasyon,"
