Vanessa's POV

I COULDN'T sleep. I couldn't stop thinking about what happened just a while ago. I sat on my bed and think about it, once again.

Lennox. David Lennox, gave my friend a gun. He gave a gun but for what?

And Eric Pires?

He left.

I didn't saw his things inside my mansion and butler James told me that he left without saying anything.

"That Pires," I murmured, how dare he left us?! I clenched with ny fist with that.

I'm still upset about it, I thought he was my ... friend?

Or whatever it is, tch. They're all the same.

But what makes me confuse and upset is he left, without telling anything. I am his partner. We're partners and yet he left me! And he left ... Jaime?

"No? No."

Of course, not! He won't leave Jaime, why would he? Tss. I know he won't leave or even break up with her without me knowing their problems

I chuckled with that. Before I completely laugh here, I've decided to stood up and open up my mini fridge.

I even stared at my clock, it's already 5:36 am so I've decided to drink some liquor. Just a mild drink.

When I sip, I closed my eyes and massage the right side of my head.

My head is aching as hell, "Did I drank too much?"

'I think so.'

I shook my head and got up from this bed. While I was walking, I can feel the dizziness I don't wanna feel.

My head was aching so effin' hard 'till I reach the medicine kit. My hands were trembling when I was trying to open it.

My forehead knotted.

I widened my eyes because it seems that my eyes are going to close anytime.

"Damn it." I walked towards side tablen and call the assistants in the lobby.

But hell. They didn't answer, it keeps ringing as I feel my head started to ache, again.

But this time, the pain is getting stronger. It's like—eating my whole head. I shouted in pain with that.

[Good morning, Ms. Briones. How can I help you?]

I couldn't talk, there's no any single word came out from my mouth.

The call was ended when I accidentaly let go of it. I was about to get it but I don't have much time.

Anytime, my eyes will close. So, I've decided to walk away from my unit. I want to run but I couldn't, all I can do is to walk slowly

But due to the pain I feel, I forced myself to ran. Without any seconds, I felt my thighs shivering.

I fell on the floor and bit my lip. I had no choice but to crawl and so did I.

I opened the door slightly and tried to stand up. When I stood up, I gripped on the door knob.

But when I've started to walk, without gripping on the door knob. My legs tremble, my head started to ache.

I SLOWLY opened my eyes. This place is kinda' familiar to me. I didn't think twice but to get up and look around

Now I know why this place is so familar. This is my room. The door opened and there I saw Cathy,

'I was expecting for Eric. Is he back?'

"Queen ..." she ran towards my bed "Masaya ako at maayos ka na." Cathy smiled, what the heck is she talking about?

"What do you mean?"

Her forehead knotted "W-wala kang naaalala?" Obviously? "Nahimatay sa unit mo matapos mo kaming ihatid."

"I ..." what? "Fainted?"

She nodded "Yes, Queen." She said "Mabuti nalang at mabait yung nakakita sayo, Queen."

Oh, yes. I remembered it! I fainted because all of my body parts were aching and also my legs were shivering, then I fell and ... "What? Someone saw me?"

"Hindi ka lang niya nakita, tinulungan ka pa niya." She smiled "Ay, Queen. Bago ko pa makalimutan."

She stood up and waved a piece of paper "Sabi sa akin ng private doctor mo, someone drugged you."

"Pampasakit daw iyon ng ulo para mahimatay, tsaka pati na din daw sa buong katawan." She pouted her lips "Sorry, Queen."

But wait, someone drugged me? Who the fuck is he?

"Kasi kung hindi sa 'min ni Jaime," she looked away "Hindi naman 'to mangyayari."

I chuckled "It's not your fault, Cathy." I crossed my arms "Anyways, where's Jaime?"
