Vanessa's POV

THE MOMENT I woke up, I can feel how weak I am. Instead of laying here in my bed, I've decided to stood up and check my uncle's condition

I didn't know the doctor came here earlier, I was sleeping due to the what happened last night. I needed rest, I needed time to think if what I did was right

And maybe, it was right.

It's not just for me but for the sake of everybody and even though it still hurts, I have to bear the pain

Because this is my fault, I've planned this. I should accept all the pain.

My uncle's still asleep, there's no sign of him waking up. He didn't even dare to move one of his fingers.

I sat on the couch if this private room as butler James enters. He came near me and put a tray full of food on it beside me

When he put it beside me, he did not speak. He knows that I won't and did he.

He walk away after that, but Jaime enters with a smile on her face, "Queen?"

No one came out from my mouth even a single word, my eyes are just focus to my uncle

I felt that she sat beside me "Queen, naman." She forced to laugh "I know you're hungry, come on le—"

"I'm not hungry," I simply said "I just want to be alone."

She sighed "Queen, pede bang kahit ngayon lang? Pede bang kalimutan muna natin 'yung nangyari?"

Out of nowhere, I chuckled and looked at her "What did you say, huh? Forget?"

She wasn't expecting my response "S-sorry, Queen. Nabigla l-lang ako."

"It's easy for you to forget someone." I gritted my teeth "But I am not like you."

Jaime's eyes looked away, those lively eyes disappeared "You forgot him, didn't you?"

"Que—"

"Stop with this bullshit, Salvador!" I yelled making her almost jump from the sofa "You're that type of woman, aren't you? Who forgets those people who cared about you!"

"Do you think I can forget the day wherein my uncle was in pain?"

"—and the day I sacrificed my own happiness for the sake of everybody?"

"I'm j-just worried about you, Queen." She bowed her head "I'm s-sorry."

"You shouldn't worry about me," I said "You should worry about yourself." I stood up

"—because you easily forget those people who loved you."

I LOCKED MYSELF inside my dark room. Wherein, only my lampshade serves as the light.

My curtains aren't apart from each other even if it's afternoon. It's just . . . being alone, being in the dark calms me down.

Before he often visit because he misses me, but now? He didn't. I can't feel that someone's staring at me, I can't feel the love I felt before whenever I remember him

Because, whenever I remember him? Those memories comes back and it's making me damn weak.

All of a sudden, while hugging my knees. Tears fell from my eyes, It didn't stop as if it's like falls.

'Why the fuck am I feeling this?'

I wish this is just a dream, and when I woke up? I hope he'll be at my side. Smiling at me and making me feel loved

Everything has changed, since what happened to my uncle. Everything has changed when I told him a lie

THE HEELS of my shoes serves as the only noise inside our hideout. Together with Hellacious and Dave Lennox, we're here at our hideout.

My legs are crossed as my right hand is holding a gun.

'It's good to be back.'

Everybody is staring at me while sitting on my throne, "Greetings, my men."

They bowed in chorus even Hellacious with Dave "It's good to see all of you, again."

With that they stood up straightly "I just want to clarify something . . ."

I glanced at my gun and played with it "Bunch of rumors are spreading and it's all about my uncle." I chuckled with that

"My uncle isn't dead," I stopped playing my gun "But a gang will be."

Their eyes are completely focus on me. Without waiting for something, I stood up with a sword beside me.

"Today is the beginning of the bad blood," my voice echoed

"We are not going to wait for them to attack!"

"—but we shall show them the we have no mercy!" With that, the sword I'm holding hit the floor.
