We went to Octagon, while the moon is still up. We left Cathy and Jaime without saying that we would be here,

Eric came closer to me "Vannie, sasamahan kita ha?"

I shooked my head "I'll be fine," I put my hands in my pocket "Just give us some privacy,"

He pouted and say, "Okay, babantayan ko nalang kayo don." He pointed my back, wherein I can see benches

"Hm," I nodded and started to walk away from him,

When I stopped walking he turned his back and faced me, "Good evening," he smiled and kissed my hand

After he kissed it, I remove it immediately "I don't have time for your shits. What do you want, Adler?"

He chuckled "Why are so mad?"

"No, I'm not." Why would I be? Tss, "The bartender told the owner of this place that you wanted to see me."

He nodded "Hm, that's right." I shrugged and sighed

'Thank God, I wore my jacket.'

"So, what do you want?" I asked and raised my left eyebrow "Make it fast, will you?"

"Okay, fine." He grinned, "These days, I can't stop thinking about you, Mafia Queen."

"And?" I acted like I don't care. Well, I really don't give a damn about him!

"I want you to be my property,"

"Well, I don't want to." I forced to smile "I need to go now,"

"Wait," he gripped my wrist, I saw Eric stood up.

"—I just want to know more about you," he shrugged "Will you let me?"

'Don't fool me, Adler. I know what you want.'

"Tara na," Eric came in and say, "Hahatid na kita,"

Tss, I didn't know Eric would help me to get rid of that fuckin' conversation,

We were about to turn are backs but Adler spoke, "Are you in a relationship?"

"—with Eric Pires?"

'Tss,'

I faced him "Are you insane, Adler?" I chuckled "Maybe, you are."

"He's the owner of this place and its branches, are you expecting that he won't treat me like a Queen, like what you're doing?"

That made his mouth slowly parted

I smirked, "Come on, Adler." Damn, I love this scene "Why do you keep comparing me to your fishes?"

"Have some respect," I looked at him from head to toe and crossed my arms "You're talking to me,"

With that, I completely turn my back and walk with Eric.

And 'till we reached his car, no one dared to talk nor mention Adler's name.

THE CAR stopped and it means we're already here in my mansion.

He parked the car without talking. Until now, no one's talking. But when I was about to open the door, he spoke.

"Vannie, pro-protektahan kita." I glanced at him, and what? Did he just say that he will protect me?

From what?

"Hindi ako papayag na makuha ka ni Michael sa amin, sa akin."

"What are you trying to say, Eric?" He's weird

He sighed and say, "Kukunin ka niya, Vannie."
