xv. shaine's secret

Vanessa's POV

THIS morning, Eric sent me a bunch of files about the Blue Queens. Of course, my next target is Shaine. I should know more about her

"Queen, sabi sa'kin ni Eric, malubha daw ang lagay nung Tricia?" Jaime said with her unsure tone

"Malubha?" Cathy asked "Pero hindi naman tumama sa dibdib niya, diba?" She laughed

"Malapit kasi sa leeg ni Tricia sabi ni Eric," Jaime shrugged "Pero, deserve naman niya 'yon e."

Now, they both laughed.

We're here inside a fancy restaurant without Eric. I heard, he's still managing the Octagon because there was a huge damage yesterday night.

Too bad, I would love to set him a date with Jaime.

"Kayo ni Eric, Jaime?" My left eyebrow raised when Cathy asked something about Eric

"Oh? Anong kami?" Jaime chuckled nervously

'Are they in a relationship, already?!'

"Status niyo?" Wait, what?! "Sabi sa 'kin ni Eric, papakasalan ka na daw niya."

My jaw almost dropped. What the fuck?

"Naniwala ka naman don," I drank a water, thank God. I thought it was true

"—gusto niya kaya si Queen,"

'Fuck shit! Damn!'

"Queen, oh." Cathy gave me a tissue "Ano bang nangyari sayo, Queen?"

Dang! I almost vomit from what Jaime said.

'Eric and me? Fuck. That's gross!'

"What the heck were you saying, Jaime?" I irritatingly asked "That's gross!"

Later on, Cathy realized what Jaime said. She laughed like there's no tomorrow, while Jamie's confused

"Pfft. Jaime naman!" She hit Jaime's arm "Mag best friend lang kaya sila!"

My eyes widened "No, we're not!"

"Wag mo ng pansinin si Queen, Jaime." She smiled evilly "Pero mag best friend talaga yung dalawa," I heard she whisper

'Tss.'

WE finished our lunch early and now we're heading to Octagon for Eric. I'm not the one who suggested that, but Jaime was.

That made me think of something

'Is she in love with Eric?'

At first, I didn't bother. But now, I can feel it. How she smiled and look away when Cathy's opening a conversation about Eric

Cathy's sitting on the passenger seat, while Jaime's sitting at the back. I am ready to drive but someone caught my attention

'Oh. My target,'

"Bakit, Queen?"

Maybe they thought that I saw an enemy "Hm. Nothing," I opened the door of my car "Wait me here,"

Jaime was about to speak but it was too late because I already closed the door.

I slowly walked to follow Shaine and till now she keeps walking like no one's following her

She stopped from walking and so do I. But what made stop is when I saw a familiar person

'Michael Adler?'

What the fuck is the meaning of this?

I hid beside a post and listened to their conversation.

"Hi, babe." What?! I took a glance and saw Shaine kissed Michael's lips "How are you? I've missed you so much."

But, Michael didn't response "What do you want?" He coldly asked

'Are they having a lover's quarrel?'

How come? I thought Michael's using Victoria to give him pleasure, but how about Shaine?

"Mich—"

Michael pushed Shaine away when she's going to hug him "Tigilan mo na 'ko, Shaine. And seriously? Akala ko ba nandito si Dave?"

So, he came here because he thought Dave is here?

"Michael," her voice became sweet "Hanggang ngayon ba wala padin?"

I saw how Michael's brows furrowed "What do you mean, Shaine?"

"Hanggang ngayon wala ka padin bang gusto sa 'kin?" Her voice cracked

Michael sighed and chuckled "Gusto mong sagutin ko?" He leaned closer to her

"Wala at kahit kailan wala akong mararamdaman para sayo,"

I heard Shaine's sob "B-bakit?" Michael turned his back but Shaine held his hand "M-michael, please . . ."

Michael stared at her "M-may mahal ka bang iba? Sino? Si V-Victoria ba?"

She's in love with Michael? Damn.

"Why do you keep pushing yourself to me?" He asked irritatingly "And what? Victoria?"

He laughed "She's just my fling, who loves to pleasure me."

"Kaya ko din naman!" She shouted "I can pleasure you! Just l-love me,"

"Sweetie," he teasingly called her "I don't love you,"

Shaine cried "P-please, love me."

He shook his head "Anim na taon na, Shaine. Pede bang tumigil ka na?" Shaine gasped with that.

"H-hindi ko kaya!" She clenched her fist "At hindi ako t-titigil hanggat hindi ka napapasakin!"

"Pede ba? Lubayan mo na 'ko, Shaine." He pushed her when Shaine gripped on her shirt

"A-ayoko!"

Michael cussed "Lubayan mo na 'ko, Shaine Ellis."

"—kung ayaw mong masira ang gang niyo." With that, he left her.

Shaine sat on the floor and cried non-stop.

Victoria and Michael are just using each other,

While Shaine is in love with Michael?
