Chapter Three

I walk home by myself thinking about today. He called me Yoonie so many times, my heart skipped a beat in every single one of them. He fucking saved my contact number with a blue heart. His smile is so cute. Shit, I'm really obsessed with this guy. I hope I can see him again tomorrow.

As soon as I get home my mom asks:
- Where have you been? It's late, you shouldn't be out.
- Sorry, mom. I was with a friend. - she seems to relax with this. She knows how friendless I am.
- Really? How was it?
- Really nice. I hope I see him again tomorrow.
- I'm glad. Now go take a shower, we're gonna be waiting to have dinner together.

- Well, he just moved here and he likes to walk.
- That's... Nice, I guess.
- We watched the sunset together, that's why I was late.
- I'm glad you have a friend, honey. But next time text us to say you're gonna be late. - My mom says.
- Ok. I'm sorry.

I was in my room finishing some homework when my phone buzzed. I look at it and it was a message from an unknown number. It takes me 5 seconds to realize who it was. I open the message excitedly.

Hi. I really enjoyed today.

I might have freaked out a little bit with that. But I type a reply as soon as I recover.

I really enjoyed it too. Hoping to see you again soon!

He replied only a few seconds later, what makes me wonder if he was just staring at the phone waiting for my reply. No, that's not possible... Is it?

I wanted to talk about it. My mom is kind of worried because I spent the last two days out and got home late, so I can't leave my house tomorrow...

My heart broke in half when I read that, before I kept reading.

...but you can come over if you want. We can watch movies and play video games. It doesn't really seems like something you'd enjoy though, so it's ok if you don't want to.

I didn't have to think twice before answering:

I'd love to come over to yours.

Great!! You can come after school and have lunch with us!
