Beach Days [JaeSeong]

Chapter Five

(Inseong's point of view)

We're watching a movie I've seen before. Jaeyoon wanted to see it and I don't really mind watching it again. The couch we're in is really big but I sat as close as I could. Our arms are a centimeter away. By this point I kind of accepted the fact that I have a crush on him. I'm not really the type of person that actually have crushes but he's really cute, sweet, handsome... What can I do? Maybe I should make a move to see how he reacts.
I get even closer to him, now our arms and knees are touching. I swing my knee so it bumps repeatedly on his. I pretend to be focused on the movie while I do it but I can see him looking at me. Suddenly, I feel a strong hand on my knee. I stare in shock while he moves his hand from my knee until my thigh, squeezes it, then removes it and says:
- You're distracting me with that.
My face is burning and I'm still in shock. I'm speechless. He moved his hand up my leg. He did that. I just stare at the tv screen for the rest of the movie without paying any attention to it.
When the movie ends, I ask what he wants to watch next and he chooses one of my favorite movies ever. As soon as I sit by his side he comes closer to me and lay his head on my shoulder. I really want to hold his hand, or just hug him, pull him closer, but I don't. Instead I just lay my head on his and we watch the movie.

Today was different. We usually talk a lot, tell jokes, laugh. But today we just stayed together silently, it wasn't a weird silence though. It was calming. I enjoyed it. Jaeyoon is leaving now since it's already late.
- Thanks for inviting me over, hyung. I really liked it.
- I liked it too. You have a great taste for movies.
He smiles that beautiful smile of his.
- Thanks, hyung. I should go now, my mom wants me home for dinner.
- I'll text you.
- Ok.
I give him a hug before saying bye, then I just wave and wait for him to leave. I watch while he walks away, occasionally looking back and getting surprised every time he realizes I'm still looking at him. I take a deep breath. Damn, he's cute.
