Chapter Fourteen

(Jaeyoon's p.o.v)

I stay in the kitchen with Aeri while Inseong talks to his dad on the living room. I had this feeling something was wrong. My heart stops when I hear Inseong screaming: 
- SHUT UP!! STOP IT!!
I look at Aeri and she looks just as desperate as I am. They talk for a few seconds before I hear his dad screaming:
- KIM INSEONG!! COME BACK HERE!! DON'T YOU DARE TO WALK AWAY WHEN I'M...
His last words were lost when Inseong's bedroom door was slammed so strongly I closed my eyes for a second.
I look at Aeri, making a silent request. She nods and I walk to Inseong's room while she goes to the living room.

When I open the door my heart breaks with what I see. He's curled up in bed crying so much that he seems to be having difficulties to breath.
- Hey, calm down... - I try to say calmly - Tell me what happened.
He looks at me with pain in his eyes.
- My dad is making me go study law at university.
- What do you mean? Why did he talked about it? Did you say that you didn't want to? - I ask but he just start crying again. So I just keep talking. - Hey, it's ok. He'll understand you. Baby, don't cry...
- You don't get it, Jaeyoon!!! I got in! He said I'm leaving next month!!

I stare at him. It can't be true. His dad can't do this...
He's leaving next month.
He's leaving me.
I don't know when he started sobbing again.
But I can feel the tears in my eyes.
Deep down I know I should hug him. Hold him close to me. I want to.
But I can't.
He's leaving me.
I feel like he already have.
