"You've heard that Gandalf and some of the rest leave for Valar in a few days" Legolas spoke as we rode through the woods, I nodded happily as I dodged a branch.

"I was thinking that we should have our wedding before they leave," I had accepted his betrothal ring and I in turn had given him one, it had been nearly two years and our marriage date was coming closer though the boats leaving for Valinor were to leave four days before we were due to have the feast in honour of our marriage, the next boat would not leave until another boat load of 'worthy' elves wanted to leave and that could be centuries. I turned to Legolas as Sky slid gently to a stop.

"Let's do it!" I said happily "Let's get married"

The feast was amazing the whole fellowship was there.

Aragorn and his family, Gimli had still not found a dwarf lady that, per say 'tickled his interest' Rhylee and my 'royal' pack were there and my original pack had swelled in numbers Jehia had had her pups, four healthy romping males and Isha had provided a beautiful heir, if that's what you could call it.

Heath approached me, Rhylee and the pack squealing slightly at the sight of Isha's cub

"It looks like Yogi Bear" She exclaimed crouching down and clicking her tongue "Yogi, come on Yogi" She crooned and surprisingly he tottered over to her gently nipping her fingers.

I rubbed Isha's ears "Yogi?" I asked her and she chuffed approvingly.

"Yogi, Alpha of Alphas" Rhylee murmured nodding. We were interrupted by Arwen grabbing my hand and pulling me through the crowd "Hurry up Elbereth it is nearly time" She scolded.

Legolas and I stood facing each other, we had promised ourselves to each other and now Gimli and Rhylee stood before us bearing purple pillows, Rhylee stepped forward and I lay my betrothal ring on it then picked up the second ring that sat there and then Gimli stepped up and lowered his head before holding the pillow as far up as he could and even then Legolas had to bend to switch his rings, as we switched we both muttered Eru's name respectfully, thanking him for allowing us to join in marriage.

Several years later Legolas had taken the throne of Mirkwood and I had gone out. Against Legolas's orders. With a flock of guards and cleared the forest, of the remaining Orc and giant spiders and soon enough the leaves regained their namesake colour and the forest was once again safe for our children.

Not just Legolas's and I's biological children but the children of our Realm, not that there are many, a lot of the Elves from all over middle earth had gone to Valinor along with Frodo, Bilbo and Gandalf, including my mother and father.

"Nana, Ada!"(Mum, Dad!) I heard my daughter Amdir scream, I took off running towards her screams and sure enough I found her watching Glamrendir, my eldest hanging over the edge of the parapets cursing in Elvish under his breath Legolas ran up and looked over the edge before laughing and hauling our son onto the right side of the stone walls

"Amonta de' Toya" (God damn it) Glamrendir muttered crossing his arms, in one hand he clutched a small arrow Estrion, my youngest child, a son at that. Came running up

"Wren, Wren, Wren" He said bouncing "Did you get my arrow? Did you?" He asked Glamrendir, whom we all called Wren scowled and pushed the arrow into his brother's hands before sweeping elegantly away muttering obscenities under his breath.

"Lam!" (Language) I called to him before he swooped into his chambers, banging the door with a growl.

I looked down at "Ezzie?" I asked "What did we say about asking your brother to do dangerous things?" Estrion looked ashamed.

"Sorry Nana" he said hanging his head Legolas ruffled his hair before grabbing my hand.

"We must go to meet Aragorn" He reminded I looked up in shock.

"Oh Valar" I grumbled and took Estrion's hand pulling him with me.

Legolas watched me smiling "Shadow hide beneath darkness. Light shows those for who they truly are. Never trust those who linger in the night. At least that's what I was taught" He muttered "But I'm glad I walked in the dark with you my love" He said kissing my forehead as he hugged me

"Eldarion" Glamrendir called rushing past me to greet his friend "Come see Ada got me my own horse his name is Belg" (strong) the two teenage boys ran off happily while Arwen watched them leave.

"Mellon" (Friend) Legolas said embracing Aragon I smiled. I was so glad that Legolas had been willing to stand by my side until I was ready to walk in the light.
