Chapter 10: Preparing

As I packed up for my upcoming mission, I heard some footsteps coming closer to my door. "Hey (Y/N), can I come in?" I knew that was Levi's voice, I then stuttered. "C-come in." I saw as Levi came into my room, lucky for me, I cleaned it this morning. "How are you doing?" He asked me. "Okay I guess...." It was awkward for me to talk to Levi because of what happened on that day.... We stared at each other for a moment, a long silence. "So, do you believe this Eren can 'turn' into titan?" Levi finally said. "I don't think so, at least until I see it for myself" I said back. He then said, "Me neither, sounds like a way to trick the townspeople of thinking that they are safe." I nodded at his statement. As I packed the last of my stuff, he told me something I will never forget. "I wanted to say that I'm sorry about kissing Petra that day, I kissed her back only because I wanted to learn how" As I heard those words I closed my suitcase. What should I tell him? One thought said to slap him and say 'idiot! You should tried me!' Another said, 'oh okay then' and just relax. I decided to go with number 2. "Oh, um it's alright." He nodded and you stayed in silence, again...

"Well I guess I'll leave now, also Erwin said we could team up for the upcoming mission, so I'll see you there. Bye" "Bye..." I hardly said as he walked out of the room. I felt abit better about him, But I'm still mad at Petra. I then turned around and saw a pink note on my desk. I decided to unfold it and see what it was. I read it in my mind, it said, " Dear (Y/N) be careful on the next mission. We all need you" ~Levi. I blushed abit. Levi did care about me, not Petra! If he did, he would have been 'banging' her right now then coming and visit me. I held the note close to my chest. Knowing Levi cared about me. Not just me, but my whole team! I hid the note in my desk and went to go get some breakfast, smiling.
