Chapter 16: Meeting the others

"Good job Alex! But you'll have to do better if you want to beat me!" I smiled grabbing hold of  his fist. He smiled awkwardly as I beat him for the 100th time already. I threw him roughly on the ground and brushed my palms on my pants, since it's a habit you have. "How are you so good (Y/N)?" Alex started complaining. "You can ask Levi for lessons next week." After you commanded for Bella to practice with you. "Alright Bella show me your moves." Bella shyly nodded and tried to attack me. I easily gripped her hand and pushed her to the floor. "I win again!" I let out a small cheer. "Ow..." Bella groaned as she rubbed her head. "Sorry Bella! I didn't mean to hit you that hard!" I said as I helped her up. I heard Lizzie give out a small growl in the distance. I ignored it and decided to get a drink. I was preparing my squad for tomorrow's mission. All day I had a bad feeling something would happen... 

But I didn't know what....

"Hey (Y/N)!" Alex called for me. I quickly turned and faced him. "Yes Alex?" I asked him. "Are we dismissed now?" He asked me. I nodded and they all left out of my view. I decided to walk over to me favorite tree and think for a few minutes. Once I reached the tree, I sat down on a comfortable spot and looked up at the blue sky. It had been 1 week since Eren took me to the mysterious garden he had made. I pulled out a envelope that was buried down in my jacket. I opened it's flip and pulled out a folded paper that was hiding inside. I unfolded the paper and read what it had inside.

Dear (Y/N),

Hopefully you've had a good week, even though it's been just a week ago since I've seen you. I hope you liked the garden I showed you, hopefully next time I can take you somewhere amazing too. Levi said we were coming tomorrow to see the new members of the Survey Corps. Hopefully I can introduce you some on my friends that are coming. I'm pretty sure you'll get along with them since you are so kind and fun to hang around with. Anyway I hope I can send you another letter later on, and hopefully you can too. Also, I wish you the best of luck for the next mission. You probably don't need it since you are so good at finishing off a titan. Anyway hope to write to you later on and wish you a fantastic day.

I smiled and plopped down on the ground with the letter covering my face. I then  remembered that the letter came yesterday, so does that mean he will be here today? I thought for a few minutes. After I decided to wait what would happen and left. When I walked into my office, I decided to try something out, I ran over to my chair and jumped on it. 

Big. Mistake.

I successfully slid into my chair. But I remembered it had wheels. So the chair quickly bumped into the wall which made me fall back and hit my head. "Ow!" I whined as I rubbed my sore head. I then heard footsteps heading towards my office. I quickly dragged my chair back to my desk and fixed myself. I saw Hanji come into my office. "(Y/N) what was that bump? I could hear it from my office!" Hanji told me. "Oh um... I may have feel off my chair...." I said shyly. "Oh okay. What are you doing?" "Nothing right now. Maybe I'll get a bit of my paperwork done before the next mission" I responded. She nodded and the asked, "Hey where's Erwin?" She asked. I smirked and told her "He's in his office" She nodded "Okay thanks (Y/N)!" She the walked off. I then stacked my paperwork and began to work.

Geez why won't Erwin give us a break from these....

"(Y/N) (L/N)" I repeated to myself as I wrote my  name on my last paperwork. After I was done, I heard my name being called. "Y/N! Come down! The new recruits will be here very    soon!" I fixed myself a bit and walked downstairs. I stopped and saw Erwin. "Ready?" He asked me. I nodded and followed him outside by the stables. The sun was setting a bit, but I didn't mind. I then saw Levi's squad there and also some of the other Survey Corps. I then saw a small group of people that looked unfamiliar to me.  ' That must be them' I thought to myself. I smiled as Eren raced to greet the group. He must have known them because they sure were having a long chat. I caught Eren's eye as I walked over to him. "Hey (Y/N)!" Eren smiled as I stood by him. Everyone from the group looked at me for a few seconds. "Hi! I'm (Y/N) (L/N)! I'm a Squad Leader here at the Survey Corps. Welcome!" I said with a smile.  They smiled at me, while this boy with with brown hair shot me a perverted smile. I cringed a bit and looked back at Eren. "(Y/N) I'd like to introduce you to everyone."

"Well it was nice meeting you all. I must get going." They all waved goodbye as I walked off. I decided to find Levi. I mean sure I was still disappointed about him and Petra, but that doesn't mean I can't talk to him anymore, right? I walked into Levi's old office and found him in there. He seemed surprised that his room was clean. "(Y/N)?" He called my name without facing me. I squeaked and walked up to him. "Yes?" I asked him. He then faced me. "Did you clean my office?" He asked me. I gulped and responded with a nod. He just stared at me for a few minutes. "Well I can tell you that you clean better then Petra for sure." He complimented me. I felt my cheeks turn red as he complimented me."T-thank you..." I stuttered. 

All of a sudden, he placed him hands roughly on my shoulders. I flinched a bit as he grabbed me, but I just looked at him. "(Y/N).... There's something that I Pe-" "Oh Levi!~" Petra chirped in a cheery voice. I clenched my fists as she came in. "Hey Petra...." I heard Levi say her name in a bitter tone. Petra then pulled him closer to her and smirked evilly at me. I ignored her smirk and walked away. "Well I'll be leaving now..." I replied with a hint for jealously. Once I reached my office, I plopped onto my chair and cried thinking for Petra and Levi.
