NCIS- The explosion

Chapter 9

Back at the hospital:

"Hey Ziver, how are you?" Asked Gibbs.

"Who are you?" Asked Ziva

"You don't remember who I am?" Questioned Gibbs.

"Should I?" Ziva wondered aloud.

Oh great Gibbs thought, know she won't be able to tell us what she saw, and the team will be devastated. I should tell the team.

With that Gibbs left the room leaving Ziva alone in the room confused.

Later:

"Boss, what are you doing here? What if Ziva comes out of surgery? She will be all alone! I'm going to go there now." Said Dinozzo.

"Dinozzo, you're not going anywhere. I came because I have something to tell the team."

He waited until Tony came back.

"Ziva is out of surgery. I asked her how she was. She didn't know who I was. She doesn't know who I am,  and probably won't remember who you are either. I just wanted to tell you before you went to see her."

"At least she won't be mad at me anymore," Joked Dinozzo.

For that comment Dinozzo got Gibbs slapped.

"What are you thinking  Dinozzo, this isn't the time to make jokes. Ziva doesn't remember who we are, and you're joking about how this is a good thing! Exclaimed Abby.

She also Gibbs slapped him. But this time he definetely deserved it.

Back at the hospital:

"Hello my dear, how are you feeling?" Asked Ducky.

"I am better." Ziva replied.

Ducky went to leave.

"Excuse me doctor, could you please tell me who entered my room earlier today?" Asked Ziva.

"Was there somebody whom you did not know who entered your room?" Asked Ducky.

"Yes. He knew me, but I don't remember him. I would just like to know his name. He also called me Ziver. A name I have never heard before." Replied Ziva.

" The man of whom you are talking about is Agent Gibbs. He works with you. Do you not remember him?" Asked Ducky.

"No. I'm not sure how he knows me. I do not have a job. I am only 18." Replied Ziva.

"My dear, you are 37. You work at NCIS, and you are in Washington. Can you tell me your name?"

"My name is Ziva." She replied.

"Where do you live?"

"Israel."

"Ok my dear, get some rest." Ducky replied.

Back at NCIS:

"I just went to see Ziva. She asked who a visitor who came to her room was. She was talking about you Jethro. She thinks she is 18 and lives in Israel. I told her she was 37 and works at NCIS, but she looked at me like I had three had heads. She also thought I was her doctor, which I thought was peculiar considering i was wearing normal clothes." Ducky told the team.

"Ducky, what if she doesn't remember your name, but remembers that you are a doctor. She always called you Doctor instead of Ducky." Tony realized.

At the hospital:

Ziva woke up and asked for Tali. The nurses told her they would see if they could find her. They called NCIS, and Ducky came to see how she was. She looked fine, but when she was asked her age, she said 8.
