"MOMMY! MOMMY HELP ME!" Mandy cried, waking up everyone. The boys watched helplessly as Katherine pulled her closer, tears in her eyes. "Mandy whats wrong!?"
Mandy to clung to Katherine, "I... I cant... I cant move my leg," she started sobbing. "I-it hurts!"
Jack was frozen in place, Crutchie was trying despratley to get his attention. "Jack please? Answer me... are you okay? JACK!?" Crutchie screamed, finally snapping Jack out if it. Jack colapsed ontop of Crutchie and sobbed.
Mandy practically screeched, "DADDY WHATS WRONG!? DADDY PLEASE." She tried desprately to climb out of bed, but Katherine stopped her. She lifted Mandy up, then sat her down in her lap, "mandy just worry about you... daddy's gonna be okay... he just doesn't like seeing you sick."
Mandy pouted, "but what if..."
Katherine shushed her, "we're all gonna be fine"
"why is daddy sad!? I wanna talk to him" Mandy sobbed into Katherine's shoulder.
She wrapped her arms around Mandy, "daddy just needs his space... you need sleep. Ill talk to him for you."
Mandy cried harder, "Mommy Im scared! Whats happening!? Dont leave me alone!"
Katherine held onto her, "ill stay... lets let daddy calm down... okay?"
Mandy nodded, "mommy... whats happening? Why arent you telling me? I know Im sick but..."
Katherine tightened her grip on Mandy, "I dont know how to explain it... I-Ill have uncle Crutchie talk to you once daddy feels better."
Mandy cried herself to sleep.
