Big enraged eyes
That's what I saw
Like an owl in disguise
But it wasn't after allAt first, I was afraid
Yet I'm not petrified
And I truly regret I stayed
In a cabin where many diedA starless night, it was
Made the place pitch black
I can't see anything, alas!
Except those eyes of lilacIt didn't blink, or wink
Or maybe I hadn't caught
Which really made me think
If it was a human or notWith courage and fear
I approached the eyes
"Don't you come near!"
A girl's voice, I asked, "Why?""You have a gun,
Don't do it, I warn you!"
I admit I have one
But how did she knew?I raised the gun
A target—I lack
The eyes were gone
I found them behind my back"In the dark, I can see what you do,
What you have, what you are;
Don't mess with me, I'm not like you."
She whispered and I felt scarredSomewhere around the cabin
There I lay very still and tight
I never really hope to see it again
Those terrifying eyes I saw last night©PeculiarPat34
