SHELBY REMEMBERS US! THIS IS THE BEST THING THAT COULD HAPPEN! NOTHING COULD GET WORSE FROM THIS POINT! In my moment of joy the nurse calls shelby to sit down on the bed because she has some news that could change her life forever. I begin to start shaking and shelby grabs mine and maxs hand. The nurse reads of a clipboard....
Shelby grace has a puncture in her lung off where she made physical contact with a knife. We can offer her an operation to fix this puncture before her lack of oxygen runs to low. If you accept this operation, you have you have to realise there will be consequences which we will get into before the operation. However if you do not accept this opperation we dont know how much longer you will live
No....... This can't be happening... She NEEDS this operation. Max is crying......... I can't cry..... I need to be strong for shelby..... I walk over to max and hug shelby and him.
Shelby's P.O.V
No....... no......no......why me? I suppose I did this to myself.... I can't really feel sorry for myself apparently I did this to myself so......yeah.... I made everyone suffer because I couldn't handle life...... wow..... well done shelby..... should I even get the operation? I will just make people suffer more anyway.....
S- I'm so sorry
R- for what?
M- What did you do?
S- I'm not going to have the operation.....
R- SHELBY YOU NEED TO!
M- We can't loose you.... We almost did and..... and...
R- what max is trying to say is your getting that operation....
S- I've caused a lot of mess.... If I.... you know.... It will stop. I have NO memory.... CANT REMEBER ANYONE?! What's the point in living.... It will cause side affects AS WELL!
M- Shelby listen to me.... There will be side affects..... but WE are here to help get your life back together....

R- NURSE!
N- Yes?
M- Shelby will accept the operation.....!
N- Shelby i need consent from you
S- I- I - I
R- when you left the room she said yes
N -ok so wait here while I go tell the surgeons
S- wa-
Max covers my mouth. The nurse walks out the room
S- what did you do that for?!
M- Because your getting that op
R- Shelby..... I can't loose you...
S- FINE!
Max's P.O.V
Shelby needs that operation..... I can't let her die.... I love her.... what would I do without her?
The nurse comes back to discuss the consequences of the op. She listed so many consequences. Shelby started crying..... I feel bad for saying she was getting the operation..... she read of her clipboard again I was getting mad

I can't believe this is happening.... I'm going to have so many problems.... how am I going to deal with that.....
I squeeze maxs hand and start to sob. He hugs me and tells me everything will be ok..............
