My name is (Y/N), I was homeschooled for my whole 14 years of life until today, my mom decided to move me to a more superior place of education full of other powerful ninjas.
"My dear, (Y/N), you're finally ready..." mom said.
"Do I have to go? I mean I'm fine here," I said.
"You won't get promoted to any ranks if you stay homeschooled," mom replied sternly. "We discussed this."
"I understand," I said, putting on my shoes.
"It's time to put all your training into good use, you're a prodigy and you know that."
"Just because I possess more chakra than average, that doesn't mean I'm a prodigy..."
"It's a rare gift you possess, don't take it for granted." Mom said. "That's the reason why you're homeschooled."
I sighed.
We arrived at the academy, lots of students started staring at me; maybe they don't see a new face everyday. We arrived at the office; my mom gave the application forms to the lady at the counter.
"Welcome, (y/n), to the Five Nations Ninja Academy, I'm Anko Mitarashi but you can call me Anko-sensei,"
"I'm (y/n), a pleasure to meet you," I said with a grin.
"I'll go now, (y/n), I'll see you later," mom said as she kisses my forehead.
"Follow me, I'll give you an overview of this academy," she said as she looks at the application forms.
"Homeschooled huh? So you don't have much of experience in school," she said as we walked.
Lots of chattering was in the background as we walked upstairs.
"Yeah, so about the overview?" I asked.
"Oh yes, this academy is composed of many different students from neighboring countries: The Five great nations." She said as she places back the papers inside the envelope.
"You'll get different ranks every term if necessary, there are class ranks which your class sensei will talk about it later. You are placed in a class depending on your abilities of Taijutsu, Genjutsu, and ninjutsu also including the compulsory core subjects."
"Okay, so what class am I in?" I asked, getting bored.
"You are currently placed in the Genin- Chūnin class for the time being before you take your preliminary exam to determine which class you are most suited to."
"How many classes are there?" I asked.
"There is a total of 5 classes but I won't be discussing that right now." She replied.
We reached a huge room full of students, as we enter; the room fell in silence staring at me, I recognize only a few people in the room that are from the leaf village.
"We have a new student today; her name is (y/n), would you like to introduce yourself?" Anko asked.
"Yes," I replied. I walked straight in the front maintaining eye contact towards all the students, while they're chattering.
"Hi, I'm (y/n), as you all know I'm a new student and I'm from the leaf village," I said confidently.
There were two other teachers standing at the corner.
"Welcome, (y/n), I'm Kurenai Sensei," she said, "and this is Asuma Sensei."
"Take a seat over there at the back," Kurenai said as she points towards a red haired boy.
Some gasped and giggled. The chattering became louder. Each table was for two people, I wonder why know one was seated with him. I went to the table and placed down my backpack. He doesn't seem to notice me but he was just silent.
"Hi! I'm Naruto, what's your name again pretty lady?" a person from another table said.
"I'm (y/n), nice to meet you, Naruto," I replied.
"Naruto!" a lady beside shouted and knocked his head.
"What is it, Sakura?" Naruto asked he touches his head.
"Hey, (y/n), I'm Sakura; I hope Naruto isn't bothering you, he's a big knucklehead sometimes." She said.
"Come on, Sakura; stop giving me a bad impression in front of her!" Naruto whispered.
"It's quite alright; you two are from the leaf village, correct?" I asked.
"Yeah, I remember seeing you around with Hinata, but I didn't really get to know you," Sakura replied as she smiles.
Sadly, Hinata is at the far end of the classroom. But I'll talk to her during lunch. The lesson began, a few hours later, the bell rang which means that it's lunch time! I went straight to Hinata to ask her something.
"Hinata! Wait!" I shouted. She heard me and stood at the spot.
"Long time, no see, (y/n)!" she exclaimed as she hugs me lightly. "I've been waiting for the day you could go to the academy with me, and here you are!"
"I'm glad you're here!" I said as we walked out of the classroom.
Hinata led to the lunch tables, which was huge! Every student was eating; loud noises and chatters came upon the area as we entered it's as if it was a concert.
"It's so loud!" I said.
"It's always like this, you'll get used to it anyways," she said.
"Hey Hinata, hey, (y/n)!" Naruto said as we passed by. "Wanna sit with us?"
Hinata was blushing, trying her best to cover her face.
"N-Naruto-Kun," she said softly.
"Hinata always does that when I ask her to sit with me, hey do you wanna seat with me?" Naruto asked.
A bunch of boys from my class was seating as a whole group. Suddenly, Sakura approached us and said, "Guys stick with guys and girls stick with girls, got it, Naruto?"
"But, Sakura, what if Sasuke asks you to sit with him?" Naruto teased.
"Well, he's an exception," Sakura replied. Naruto's face fell.
"I'm sure (y/n) finds you too idiotic to sit with, come, Hinata and (y/n)!" Sakura shouted.
"Coming," Hinata said. I followed as well.
We arrived at the table, with five other girls sitting.
"Hey guys, you probably already met her from our class, except for Hanabi," Sakura said.
"There you are, Hanabi!" Hinata exclaimed. "(y/n), that's my sister,"
"Nice to meet you, Hanabi!" I said.
Sakura introduced me to the other girls, as I was eating, I saw the boy with the red hair again, and curiosity flooded me.
"Hey, Sakura, who's that guy who was sitting beside me in class?" I asked.
"Oh, that's, Gaara, lots of girls adore him, they find him 'hot' specially the fact that he's the Kazekage's son," Sakura replied.
"Hey, Sakura, are you saying that you like him more than Sasuke?" Ino asked with a smirk on her face.
"No! I love Sasuke, I will never give him up to a person like you! Ino-pig!" Sakura shouted.
"Sasuke doesn't like a person with a big forehead like you! Billboard brow!" Ino shouted back.
"Sakura and Ino! Please stop fighting!" Hinata shouted, trying to calm them down.
"This always happens," TenTen said with a sigh. "Hey, (y/n) do you like Gaara?"
"Not at all, I was curious why nobody is sitting with him..."
"Well, because he DOESN'T let anyone sit with him," Temari said.
"He usually threatens or does something when someone sits with him, but this time he didn't do it to you," Temari concluded. "Maybe he likes you," she giggled.
"Uh-huh, anyways, I'm not interested in this whole liking another person," I sighed as I finished the last of my food.
"Suit yourself, (y/n), I know that one day you'll be dating someone like him." Ino winked and they all giggled.
