Neji's POV

After school I decided to go to the mall to buy a special present for [y/n]. I went to the largest store in NinJMall, it's a departments store filled with a variety of products I can get for her. I looked around the store hoping to find something that she would like. I finally found something, a special edition necklace that is the brightest looking among all the other jewelry in that area.

I smiled, it's perfect. I went towards it, so fixated on it, about to grab it until I didn't realize someone else was about to grab it as well. I glanced toward who it was, it wasn't just anybody, it's the well known Uchiha. His onyx eyes glared at me, as it turned to annoyed ones.

He snorted and said, "Hm, it's you, I hope you weren't about to grab that because I'm buying that." My eyes widened as my brows furrowed.

"Sorry, but I did not see you there, I was quite exhausted finding a perfect gift and this is the one, I was here first," I said.

He rolls his eyes and snorted. "I was here an hour ago and I had to get all my fangirls away so that I can get here," he said as he snatched away the shiny box with the special edition necklace in it.

"You're not giving that to [y/n] are you?!" I asked, getting more annoyed.

His eyes widened and he went towards me and glared, feeling the electricity between us. Our glare broke as soon as I sensed someone standing there. I glanced toward the female Uchiha as her icy blue eyes filled with so many questions.

"[y/n]?" I said.

Sasuke turned back with one of his glares again, [y/n] glared back. I smirked. " Alright then, Uchiha, you can have that, I'll find something better to buy," I said. Suddenly, [y/n] came towards us, but was looking more to me. She smiled and said, "I could sense your chakra from afar." She placed her hand on her hip with a smirk.

Then she glanced towards the shiny box that Sasuke held. "That's a pretty necklace... Special edition huh?" she asked as she glanced towards the price, her eyes widened. "I wouldn't expect that you would buy that Sasuke, whoever you're buying it for must be special to you." Sasuke made one of those snorts and placed the necklace back on the shelf.

He placed his hands in his pockets and left without a word. [y/n] turned to me, then again I was captivated by her icy blue eyes that was hard not to look at. She smiled. "So what are you doing here?" she asked.

I shrugged. "I'm just here to buy something, I didn't expect that you would be here too," I said. She chuckled and said, "I'm buying a gift for someone." I raised my brow and asked, "Who?"

She shook her head and laughed. "So what are you buying?" she asked. She's changing the subject, I have to know who she's buying a gift for. "You haven't answered my question," I said firmly.

She chuckled. "Why are you so concern, Mister long hair?" she asked as she started to leave. "I'll see you tomorrow," she said as she made a hand sign a teleported away.

I quickly got the special edition necklace, I looked at the price... It was definitely expensive but it was worth every cent.

[y/n] POV

I went to the counter to check out this two cute necklaces in a box, each with half a heart, he'll surely like it. It was a little expensive but it was worth it, he saved my life so the price doesn't even count for me. The lady at the counter asked me whether I want it to be gift wrapped and so I did that option which cost me extra but that's okay. She gave my the wrapped gift with a plastic and walked back to the spot where I was told to meet up. I waited for a long time, I looked around seeing lots of girls surrounding someone, I squinted, I could see that it's Sasuke. I'm trying to avoid him because of the whole situation that happened. I went to the corner, hopefully not to be seen but I see lots of people who seemed to be students in my school, staring at me.

I crossed my arms, and leaned against the wall with my hair covering half my face, a sighed, hoping that mom and Naruto would show up anytime soon. I glanced around spotting Neji, he seemed to be buying something, I couldn't tell what it was but it was already wrapped. I wouldn't be surprised if that was for me considering its my birthday tomorrow. I gulped, realizing that he was heading towards me, he makes me nervous sometimes, I have those 'feelings' whenever he's around sometimes. I forced a smile as he went towards me with a curled smile.

"Hey," he said casually.

"So, what did you buy huh?" I asked with a confident smile as my eyes narrowed.

"Oh this?" He asked as he lifts up the plastic and revealed the wrapped gift. "I'm giving this to a very special someone," he said.

i raised my brow. "Hm, I wonder who it is... Is it a a girl?" I asked. He nods and said, "I have some affection towards this girl and I hope she likes this."

I smiled and took his hand which made him turn red. "I'm sure she wil, good luck with her, I hope she'll show the same feelings towards you" I said cheerfully. He smiled and stared into my soul which made me look away from his gaze, which I always do but he smirked. He touched my chin and turned it to him.

"I hope she will," he said with a soft smile.

I nodded and said, "You'll never know, I mean who wouldn't turn back from you, I mean you're the sweetest guy anyone would love." I gulped my words, why did I say that but it was true.

He turned beet red and turned his firm smile into a smirk. "Hm, is that so?" He asked. I was sweating hard after saying that, it seems like I'm flirting with him but to me I'm just complimenting him, is that the same thing? Suddenly, I felt a vibrate from my phone, I opened it up, it's from Ninstagram and someone tagged me in a photo..... Oh no, not again...
