When the doorbell rang, Christofer handed Quinn over to me gently and sauntered over to the door, grinning as he opened it.
"Alright Dan?"
"Hey, Chris." The two boys high fived each other, smiling.
"It's been ages mate!"
"God, tell me about it. Charlie's been done in with the coppers, and Jace cant seem to quit crack, its driving Hayley nuts."
"Fuck sake, what has Charlie boy done now?" Christofer sighed, scratching his neck.
"Only gone mental and stabbed someone."
"No fucking way. What an asshole."
Jordan coughed loudly, standing beside me. He brushed his hair out of his eyes, raising an eyebrow. "Can you two ladies have your mothers meeting someplace else? Oh, and hey Daniel."
I chuckled, earning myself a glare from Christofer.
"Hey Jord. Hey Alexs."
"I would wave at you bro, but.." I looked pointedly at Quinn snoring in my arms. "So, hi."
"You guys ready?" Daniel spun his car keys around his fingers.
"You got a new tattoo!" I gasped, handing Quinn to Jordan and grabbing my brother's hands. Across his knuckles, "FUCK THIS" was written in thick black ink, with skulls above every letter. I stroked them, smiling.
"I got more." Daniel lifted up his shirt to reveal a whole body suit of tattoos. I focused on each and every one of them. Demons dancing around dead bodies, skulls dripping blood, fire from hell, ripped flowers, motorbikes, band logos, claw marks down his chest and even a Batman tattoo like Andy from Black Veil Brides. and a snake winding its way around his waist.
"I hate you." I mumbled enviously, dragging his top down. "Did they hurt?"
"Like a bitch." Daniel smirked. "It took 8 hours to get the snake done, and all together I was in that tattoo parlor from 10pm to around 12pm the next day. It bloody hurt."
"I want tattoos." Jordan sighed absent-mindedly, rocking his baby brother from side to side.
"Good. My advice is get lots." Daniel said. "Now, Alexs, if you are quite done perving at my chest, can we go?"
